"Nordic Moments - The Adventure Landscape Reportage" is a presentation about travel photography of a special kind. In the presentation, I take the audience with me on my often adventurous hikes and ski tours and show impressions from Scandinavia, the Faroe Islands, Iceland, Greenland and Svalbard. I also talk about my very own photography style of "landscape reportage", in which I capture the intoxicating landscapes under often the most adverse conditions with compact photographic equipment and only a few fixed focal lengths. I reveal insights into my work and the photography of book projects. Practical tips on landscape, nature and outdoor photography are also included, rounded off with anecdotes and "origin stories" of various shots.
About Martin H?lle: Martin H?lle's heart beats above all for the remote regions of the far north. For almost 30 years, the FUJIFILM X-Photographer has been roaming mountain landscapes and glacier worlds in summer and winter. Whether on foot or on skis, he has already covered thousands of kilometers on countless tours in these breathtaking regions. The Northland fever and the Arctic bug are old acquaintances that he will certainly never get rid of. Martin produces reports and photos for magazines and other media. He is the author of the photo book "Mein Norden" and co-author of the book "FUJIFILM X-PHOTOGRAPHERS - Vom Fotografieren mit dem Fujifilm X-System". He also leads workshops and masterclass photography trips in Norway, the Faroe Islands and Scotland. Photography and writing are a way of life for him - a way of capturing and expressing emotions and sharing them with others. Camera and notepad are his constant companions in his search for exciting stories, reportages and documentaries.
