What is light? A question we rarely ask ourselves in our everyday lives. Light surrounds us constantly and everywhere. Anyone who is involved in photography can hardly avoid dealing with the subject of light. The key to successful photography is the right light and how to deal with it.

The art is to recognize light situations, to expand them skillfully and to use them for yourself.
Different light sources produce different picture looks, with this knowledge one has almost boundless creative possibilities.
A distinction is made between natural and artificial light sources. With the right equipment, you can create artificial light sources and thus gain full control over the light or shape and control the existing natural light for your purposes. Light plays just as important a role in the studio as it does outdoors. Aids such as flash units, reflectors or studio lights enable us to turn any photographic situation into a perfect result.
