Cameras with a Micro Four Thirds sensor are characterized by a particularly handy format. Nevertheless, these cameras should not be underestimated in any way. Especially in combination with a flash, both professionals and amateurs can achieve amazing results with these cameras. Flash units for Micro Four Thirds cameras are available in many different versions. The operation is particularly simple in this day and age because of the use of a hot shoe with center contact, so that even amateur photographers can venture into the subject of flash. With suppliers such as Cullmann, Metz or Nissin you have the choice between manual flashes and those that support a TTL metering function. With these a perfect exposure almost always succeeds, because the flash communicates over the contact directly with the camera. For classic picture looks, the clip-on flash is best suited. However, with bounce flashes or a ring flash, you can create completely new effects that can be helpful in developing your own image language.
