Despite the advance of digitalization, there are numerous photographers, amateurs and professionals alike, who do not make the switch from analog to digital photography or who are rediscovering the slide world. Photographing with slide films is still popular. Frames made of plastic or metal, for example by the brands Gepe, Hama or Braun, enclose the slides. Some of the slide frames are glassless, others have glass. Especially recommended are those that frame slides behind so-called anti-Newton glass. The glass attached to the inside prevents the occurrence of interference between flat surfaces. This type of framing has the additional advantage that the exact position of the slide is guaranteed and it is protected behind glass from damage by other influences. Thanks to the practical magazines, the slides can be put in a desired order and stored in a space-saving way. Furthermore, there are different systems and additional equipment such as magazines, journal boxes or magazine cases to complete the perfect equipment for analogue photography.
