With the GFX 50S, Fujifilm has succeeded in introducing a new standard in digital medium format photography. The photography world is amazed at its compactness, intuitive operation and outstanding image quality. However, this is not only due to the new sensor, but above all to the new lenses, which were specially developed for the successful entry into medium format photography. The G bayonet, as Fujifilm calls the new lens mount in reference to the GFX 50S, is in no way inferior to the impressive imaging performance of the company's other lenses. With the patented Nano-Coating, reflections are reduced to a minimum and the Weather Resistance makes it possible to shoot with the medium format camera even in the most adverse conditions. Fujifilm stands for flexible zoom lenses and fast fixed focal lengths in its lens line-up. The company remains true to this premise for medium format as well. Over the next few years, the Japanese manufacturer will be announcing many innovations, which will primarily affect the G bayonet. Step by step, a collection of medium format Lens will be launched on the market that will not soon lose their leading position in terms of imaging performance. The format of the new system enables studio photographers as well as wedding, documentary and landscape photographers to get the best out of every situation.
