Tripods relieve the photographer in many ways, because the body and lenses may weigh a lot. Also, hand-held photography is only possible up to certain lighting conditions. As a rule, the photographer, whether amateur or professional, needs a tripod when the light is too low and when he or she does not want to work with the flash. Exception: the smartphone stick is intended for spontaneous shots where the cell phone can be fixed - for selfies, for example. Otherwise, these tools are needed for many purposes. Special versions are available from Berlebach, Delkin, Cullmann, Hama, Manfrotto or D?rr, for example for car windows, astro or video recordings and other purposes.
