The long-established company Voigtländer has been manufacturing high-quality Lenses for a wide range of cameras since 1839, making it one of the true veterans of the photography scene. They only build lenses with manual focus and can therefore invest all their energy in achieving outstanding imaging performance in the field of optical quality and maximizing the quality of workmanship.
The product range covers many focal length ranges and is available for the four series E-mount, VM, SL and MFT. As the lenses are all fixed focal lengths, the lenses have an impressive speed and are very suitable for cropping subjects.
Optically, the Lenses are based on the company's long tradition and all have a certain retro charm. The Voigtländer options are therefore ideally positioned in terms of both quality and appearance.
Lenses from Voigtländer
The traditional company Voigtländer was founded in 1756. The company has been manufacturing Lenses since 1839. Voigtländer Lenses impress with their high optical quality, excellent imaging performance and outstanding workmanship and feel. All Lenses are manufactured with manual focus and fixed focal length, giving them a very special retro charm. By deliberately dispensing with many extras, the manufacturer concentrates on the precision of the optics. The product range extends from extreme wide-angle lenses for landscape and architectural photography to portrait focal lengths.
The four series E-mount, VM, SL and MFT ensure use on different camera systems. The E-mount was specially designed for Sony cameras with the E bayonet. The VM series has been developed for use on classic rangefinder cameras from Voigtländer and Leica, but can be connected to modern SLR cameras without any loss of quality using adapters. The SL Lenses are designed to more than meet the requirements of digital photography. Built-in electronics ensure error-free communication with the camera. The MFT series with the Micro Four Thirds mount was created for use with Panasonic and Olympus cameras. Here, special attention is paid to the amazing speed of 0.95.
With their classic design, Voigtländer Lenses inspire both amateurs and professionals.
