FUJIFILM X-T50: compact system camera with 40.2 megapixel sensor, 6.2K video and film simulation dial
FUJIFILM expands the X series with the FUJIFILM X-T50. The mirrorless system camera impresses with its outstanding image quality, its compact body and FUJIFILM's legendary color reproduction technology.

The X-T50 features a high-resolution 40.2 megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor, an X-Processor 5*1 and five-axis image stabilization with up to seven aperture stops*2. Despite these advanced features, it weighs only approx. 438 grams*3, making it one of the lightest models in the X series. In combination with the new FUJINON XF16-50mmF2.8-4.8R LM WR standard zoom lens, the camera is suitable for a wide range of different subjects.

High image quality
An advanced algorithm works in conjunction with the back-illuminated 40.2 megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor to ensure fast image processing with high detail sharpness and improved noise performance. The pixel structure has been optimized so that more light reaches the sensor and a standard sensitivity of ISO 125 is achieved, which was previously only available as an extended sensitivity.*4

The electronic shutter of the X-T50 allows ultra-short exposure times of up to 1/180,000 second, which enables very precise control of the exposure. Even on bright days, you can shoot with fast lenses at open aperture to achieve attractive focus effects.

The X-T50's autofocus system offers object-oriented subject recognition based on artificial intelligence. The algorithm developed using deep learning technology not only recognizes and tracks people's faces and eyes, but also reliably keeps animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, planes, trains, insects and drones*5 in focus.

The X-T50 has 20 film simulations, including "REALA ACE" for natural colour reproduction and high-contrast tonality. This means that numerous picture styles are available, which can be selected to suit the respective scene, similar to analogue films.

The camera also offers a digital teleconverter*6, which uses the high resolution of the 40.2 megapixel sensor to enlarge the subject by 1.4 or 2.0 times at the touch of a button.

Advanced shooting functions
The internal five-axis image stabilizer allows exposure times of up to seven f-stops longer. Even in very low light, for example in the evening or at night, you can take sharp pictures freehand.

Videos can be recorded with the X-T50 in 6.2K quality at 30 frames per second. The tracking AF follows dynamic objects during movie recording and reliably keeps them in focus.

In AUTO mode, the camera automatically recognizes the subject and automatically selects the optimum shooting settings. Moving objects remain in focus without the photographer's intervention, making it easier to take photos and movies. The mode can be activated at any time using a selection switch on the top of the camera housing.

Modern product design
The design of the camera housing has been further developed and optimized in several ways. Rounded edges and a redesigned handle ensure comfortable and uncomplicated handling.

The film simulation dial on the top of the camera is a new feature. This can be used to intuitively switch between the different film simulation modes depending on the subject or scene, both when taking photos and when filming.

The camera has a built-in flash unit. The brightness of the flash automatically adjusts to the respective subject. Dark scenes or backlit portraits are optimally illuminated.

The folding LCD monitor with 1.84 million pixels offers a precise preview and makes it easier to take photos from unusual angles. The shape of the handgrip and the arrangement of the rear controls have been redesigned to make shooting and filming even more comfortable.

World's First¹ 16.6x All-in-one Zoom Lens
The 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD is the world's first¹ zoom lens with 16.6x magnification for mirrorless APS-C cameras. The wide zoom range from wide-angle to ultra-telephoto is the outstanding feature of this Lens. Converted to the 35 mm format, this results in a focal length range of 27 mm to 450 mm. With this wide coverage, the Lens is suitable for a wide range of photographic applications from everyday snapshots and atmospheric travel impressions to expressive landscape, nature and macro photography.

Fast and precise VXD autofocus
The autofocus system of the 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 VC VXD is based on Tamron's proprietary VXD linear motor technology (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive). When it comes to speed and precision, VXD autofocus is one of the leading systems in the class of all-in-one zoom lenses. At every focal length setting, from wide-angle to ultra-telephoto, absolutely precise focusing takes place. Even moving subjects remain reliably in the plane of focus, making the Lens ideal for shooting animals, airplanes, trains and other fast-moving subjects. Since the autofocus works almost silently, the 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD is also suitable for photo and video shooting when absolute silence is required.

Shortest focusing distance 15 cm and maximum magnification 1:2
With a close-up distance of only 15 cm at 18 mm focal length and a maximum magnification of 1:2, the 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD has impressively good close-up shooting capabilities compared to other
all-in-one zoom lenses. For close-ups with a shooting distance of 15 cm, the distance between the subject and the front lens is only about 5 mm. This short shooting distance enables, for example, creative macro shots with velvety background blur. Highest image quality in this lens class
In terms of imaging performance, the new 18-300mm F3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD achieves a top score in the class of all-in-one zoom lenses for mirrorless system cameras with APS-C sensor. The carefully balanced optical system includes three hybrid aspheres and four LD (Low Dispersion) elements that provide 16.6x magnification with the highest image quality. Over the entire focal length range, resolving power remains consistently high from the optical center to the image edge.

Outstanding VC Image Stabilization
Despite its compact design, the Lens features Tamron's proprietary VC image stabilization. The system effectively compensates for unwanted camera movement in low-light conditions, such as indoors or after sunset. With cameras equipped accordingly, it supplements the internal image stabilization. In addition, the Lens is equipped with an Artificial Intelligence that automatically selects the optimal VC settings in each case when shooting video with focal lengths up to 70 mm.
