FUJIFILM X-T50: compact system camera with 40.2 megapixel sensor, 6.2K video and film simulation dial
FUJIFILM expands the X series with the FUJIFILM X-T50. The mirrorless system camera impresses with its outstanding image quality, its compact body and FUJIFILM's legendary color reproduction technology.

The X-T50 features a high-resolution 40.2 megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor, an X-Processor 5*1 and five-axis image stabilization with up to seven aperture stops*2. Despite these advanced features, it weighs only approx. 438 grams*3, making it one of the lightest models in the X series. In combination with the new FUJINON XF16-50mmF2.8-4.8R LM WR standard zoom lens, the camera is suitable for a wide range of different subjects.

High image quality
An advanced algorithm works in conjunction with the back-illuminated 40.2 megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR sensor to ensure fast image processing with high detail sharpness and improved noise performance. The pixel structure has been optimized so that more light reaches the sensor and a standard sensitivity of ISO 125 is achieved, which was previously only available as an extended sensitivity.*4

The electronic shutter of the X-T50 allows ultra-short exposure times of up to 1/180,000 second, which enables very precise control of the exposure. Even on bright days, you can shoot with fast lenses at open aperture to achieve attractive focus effects.

The X-T50's autofocus system offers object-oriented subject recognition based on artificial intelligence. The algorithm developed using deep learning technology not only recognizes and tracks people's faces and eyes, but also reliably keeps animals, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, planes, trains, insects and drones*5 in focus.

The X-T50 has 20 film simulations, including "REALA ACE" for natural colour reproduction and high-contrast tonality. This means that numerous picture styles are available, which can be selected to suit the respective scene, similar to analogue films.

The camera also offers a digital teleconverter*6, which uses the high resolution of the 40.2 megapixel sensor to enlarge the subject by 1.4 or 2.0 times at the touch of a button.

Advanced shooting functions
The internal five-axis image stabilizer allows exposure times of up to seven f-stops longer. Even in very low light, for example in the evening or at night, you can take sharp pictures freehand.

Videos can be recorded with the X-T50 in 6.2K quality at 30 frames per second. The tracking AF follows dynamic objects during movie recording and reliably keeps them in focus.

In AUTO mode, the camera automatically recognizes the subject and automatically selects the optimum shooting settings. Moving objects remain in focus without the photographer's intervention, making it easier to take photos and movies. The mode can be activated at any time using a selection switch on the top of the camera housing.

Modern product design
The design of the camera housing has been further developed and optimized in several ways. Rounded edges and a redesigned handle ensure comfortable and uncomplicated handling.

The film simulation dial on the top of the camera is a new feature. This can be used to intuitively switch between the different film simulation modes depending on the subject or scene, both when taking photos and when filming.

The camera has a built-in flash unit. The brightness of the flash automatically adjusts to the respective subject. Dark scenes or backlit portraits are optimally illuminated.

The folding LCD monitor with 1.84 million pixels offers a precise preview and makes it easier to take photos from unusual angles. The shape of the handgrip and the arrangement of the rear controls have been redesigned to make shooting and filming even more comfortable.

The new standard lens in the XF Lens Series has a focal length of 35mm (53mm equivalent to KB), providing an angle of view similar to the human eye. The maximum aperture of F2 ensures excellent image quality even in difficult lighting conditions and delivers beautiful bokeh.

The "FUJINON XF35mmF2 R WR" consists of 9 elements in 6 groups (including two aspherical lenses). This optical design achieves a perfect balance of high image quality and compact size. The Lens has the smallest diameter of all FUJINON XF and XC lenses. The "internal focus system" that moves the small and lightweight lens elements, combined with a stepper motor, enables quiet, accurate and fast autofocus. The autofocus speed of just 0.08 seconds*1 is ideal for taking spontaneous snapshots.

The "XF35mmF2 R WR" is sealed at 8 points. This makes the Lens both splash-proof and dust-proof. It is also optimized for operation at low temperatures of up to minus 10 degrees.

Die Renaissance des Fotografierens: Fujifilm X-T50 - Ein Meisterstück!
Als langjähriger, überzeugter Nutzer von Nikon DSLRs (D300, D700) war der Schritt zur spiegellosen Welt ein wohlüberlegter. Die Fujifilm X-T50 hat meine Erwartungen jedoch nicht nur erfüllt, sondern in jeder Hinsicht weit übertroffen und mein Gefühl für die Fotografie neu entfacht!

Retro-Charme trifft auf High-Tech-Power
Die Haptik und das Design der X-T50 sind schlichtweg atemberaubend. Der Retro-Look ist nicht nur ästhetisch ansprechend, sondern die dedizierten Einstellräder für Belichtungszeit und Belichtungskorrektur holen das pure, taktile Gefühl des Fotografierens zurück, das ich von meinen alten Kameras kenne und liebe. Trotz ihrer kompakten Größe liegt sie dank des ergonomischen Griffes unglaublich gut in der Hand.

Bildqualität, die sprachlos macht
Ausgestattet mit dem 40,2 Megapixel X-Trans CMOS 5 HR Sensor und dem X-Processor 5 liefert die X-T50 eine Bildqualität, die in dieser Klasse Maßstäbe setzt. Die Detailwiedergabe ist phänomenal, die Farben sind satt und lebendig - Fujifilm-typisch eben! Selbst bei hohen ISO-Werten bleibt das Rauschen wunderbar organisch. Für mich als jemanden, der die Robustheit der D700 schätzte, ist es beeindruckend, wie viel Leistung in diesem leichten Gehäuse steckt.

Die Magie der Filmsimulationen
Die Filmsimulationen sind für mich das absolute Highlight und der Game-Changer. Es ist, als hätte man eine ganze Sammlung legendärer Analogfilme in einer einzigen digitalen Kamera! Ob das sanfte, pastellige Flair von Nostalgic Negative oder die ikonische Tiefe von Velvia - die Möglichkeit, fertige, perfekt abgestimmte JPEGs direkt aus der Kamera zu erhalten, spart unglaublich viel Zeit in der Nachbearbeitung und inspiriert zu neuen Aufnahmestilen.

Blitzschneller Fokus und Stabilisierung
Der Autofokus ist rasend schnell und zuverlässig. Besonders die Motiverkennung (Mensch, Tier, Auto etc.) ist ein Quantensprung. Nie wieder ein unscharfes Porträt! Gepaart mit der internen 5-Achsen-Bildstabilisierung (IBIS) ist die X-T50 auch bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen oder für Videoaufnahmen ein Traum.

Das 15-45mm Kit-Objektiv: Mehr als ein Starter
Das mitgelieferte Fujinon XC 15-45mm F3.5-5.6 OIS PZ mag ein Kit-Objektiv sein, aber es ist von exzellenter Qualität. Es ist extrem leicht und die elektrische Zoom-Funktion ist besonders beim Filmen geschmeidig. Für den Einstieg und den täglichen Gebrauch ist es der perfekte, vielseitige Begleiter.

Fazit
Die Fujifilm X-T50 ist nicht nur eine Kamera; sie ist eine Inspiration. Sie vereint die professionelle Bildqualität der Top-Modelle von Fujifilm mit einer beispiellosen Kompaktheit und einer Bedienphilosophie, die einfach Spaß macht. Wer den Sprung von einer schweren DSLR wagt oder einfach eine Premium-Kamera für den Alltag sucht, wird sie lieben!

Unterschätzt
Klein, leicht, leiser und schneller AF (für Fuji), sehr schönes Farbrendering und vor allem wie ich finde ein wunderschönes Bokeh, was man bei dieser Blende gar nicht so erwarten würde, für einen relativ günstigen Preis ein wirklich tolles 50er
