Product description for LAOWA 6mm f/2 Zero-D Micro Four Thirds

The Small Ultra Wide Angle for MFT
The LAOWA 6mm f/2 Zero-D MFT is an ultra-wide, tiny MFT lens that is also suitable for gimbals, handheld cameras, drones, etc.. It weighs only 188g and has a 58mm filter thread for mounting screw-on filters. All this makes it a perfect travel lens. Thanks to Zero-D, the photos are almost distortion-free.

With the large aperture of f/2, you can shoot in low-light environments without having to increase the ISO. In addition, the Lens can produce a relatively shallow depth of field despite the ultra-wide angle.

With an angle of view of 121.9°, impressive landscape, interior, and architectural shots can be achieved. The focal length is equivalent to 12mm in 35mm format.

With the extremely low closest focusing distance of only 9cm, it is also possible to take close-up pictures of small objects.

The optics consists of 13 elements in 3 groups, including 2 aspherical elements and 4 with particularly low dispersion. The front lens is coated with the water and dust repellent "Frog Eye Coating' (FEC). This gives the Lens an extra layer of protection compared to conventional coatings.

Thanks to the 5 aperture blades, you can get a beautiful 10-beam sun star by stopping down.

Equipped with a CPU chip and a motor, this Lens allows you to adjust the iris via the camera. The focus magnifier can also be used to make focusing easier when the focus ring is rotated. The metadata is stored in EXIF format.

Since it does not have an aperture ring, this Lens is relatively short and is well suited for use with drones and gimbals.

Focusing is done manually.

Superweitwinkel für MFT
Das Objektiv ist sehr wertig gebaut, leicht und mit der optischen Leistung bin sehr zufrieden. Auch die Offenblende ist gut zu gebrauchen -mit etwas Nachbearbeitung-. Das ideale Reiseobjektiv wenns mal eng zugeht und das Gewicht entscheidend ist.

Geniales Extrem-Weitwinkel-Objektiv
Der Unterschied von 7,5mm auf 6mm Brennweite ist tatsächlich um einiges größer als man den Zahlen nach meinen könnte. Bei Vollformat entspricht der Bildwinkel 12mm. Das Objektiv ist bei Blende 4 - 5,6 scharf bis beinahe in die Ecken, dort lässt es erwartungsgemäß ein wenig nach. Lediglich leichte und einfach zu korrigierende Farbsäume an kontrastreichen Kanten, sonst tadellose optische Leistung!
Klein und leicht und mit Datenübertragung ausgestattet, sodass die Blende an der Kamera eingestellt wird und die EXIF-Daten vollständig sind.
Die Lieferung war überdies extrem flott! Vielen Dank!
