Laowa Probe Zoom Macro

With its new Probe Zoom Macro lenses, Laowa is launching what is currently the widest Probe Zoom series on the market. The lenses have been specially developed for filmmakers who are looking for unique and impressive perspectives that are not possible with normal Probe or Probe Zoom lenses.

The Lens is available in two zoom versions: the Laowa Probe Zoom Macro 15-24 mm T8 and the Laowa Probe Zoom Macro 15-35 mm T12. With a 2.3x zoom, the 15-35mm model offers the widest zoom range and longest barrel in its class, opening up the underwater world to filmmakers and allowing even more creative flexibility. Thanks to the very wide 15mm full-frame perspective and the extremely close minimum subject distance of just 5mm, even tiny details that were previously out of reach in expansive environments can be captured.

This versatility makes the Laowa Probe Zoom Macro particularly suitable for cinematic storytelling, wildlife photography and commercial projects where both macro-level detail and the context of the wider environment are important.

The Laowa Probe Zoom Macro is available in eight different versions: Both the 15-24 mm T8 and the 15-35 mm T12 are available with either the usual probe lens perspective (Direct View) or with a periscope view parallel to the camera (Periscope View), as well as with a 35 degree or a 90 degree angled front module.

All lenses are equipped with an Arri PL mount. Optional interchangeable mounts are available for Canon EF, Sony E, Nikon Z, Canon RF and L-Mount.
