The Sigma 200mm F2 DG OS | Sports is the world's first[1] 200mm F2 telephoto (fixed focal length) lens designed for full-frame mirrorless cameras.

The linear HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) motor ensures precise, fast autofocus, and image stabilization with 6.5 f-stops[2] supports comfortable shooting.

Excellent resolution even at the widest aperture
The optical construction of 19 lenses in 14 groups, including 2 FLD and 2 SLD glass elements, thoroughly corrects axial chromatic aberration and magnification errors that are easily visible in telephoto lenses and achieves exceptionally high optical performance. Even when the aperture is fully open, it delivers detailed images with high resolution and high contrast from the center of the image to the edge.
Impressive portraits through exceptional bokeh
Thanks to the large bokeh made possible by the F2 aperture (twice as much light as F2.8) and the compression effect of the 200mm focal length, the Lens creates a beautiful background blur that highlights the subject and creates a unique expression. Combined with the exceptional optical performance, it enables stunning portraits like no other Lens.
Also powerful for indoor sports photography
The F2 brightness enables a faster shutter speed even in low-light environments, making the Lens a powerful tool for indoor sports photography. The large bokeh enhances athletes' movements and expressions, creating dynamic images, and with the high-speed AF of the HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) motor and optical stabilization (OS), the decisive moment is not missed even in fast sports.
Designed to minimize flares and ghosting
Thanks to advanced simulation technology, flares and ghosting have been largely eliminated so that the Lens delivers rich, high-contrast results in all conditions. In addition, Sigma's Nano Porous Coating and Super Multi-Layer Coating have been applied to further suppress flares and ghosting.
HLA-driven high-speed AF
The HLA (High-response Linear Actuator) motor is integrated and enables high-speed AF. It combines an accelerated focusing speed with outstanding accuracy.
Powerful optical stabilization with OS2 algorithm
The OS2 optical stabilization algorithm offers outstanding image stabilization of 6.5 f-stops[2]. The Lens is equipped with two OS modes: Mode 1 is suitable for general shooting, and Mode 2 is ideal for pull-along shots in motorsports and other sports. In Mode 2, Sigma's Intelligent OS, an algorithm developed specifically for tracking shots, enables effective stabilization even when the camera is moving vertically or diagonally, regardless of orientation. This allows the movement of the subject to be captured without losing the tracking effect.
Heat-insulating coating for perfect lens performance
The body of the Lens is coated with a heat-insulating coating that effectively suppresses heat absorption from sunlight. This prevents the Lens from heating up even during long outdoor use in sunny weather.
Weather resistance in accordance with Sigma Sports series specifications
The bayonet connections, manual focus ring, zoom ring, custom switches and body connections are all protected by a dust and splash-proof structure[3]. In addition, the foremost lens surface has a water and oil repellent coating to facilitate cleaning when water droplets or dust adhere.
Newly designed tripod clamp
A new tripod clamp, TS-171, has been developed with its use as a carrying handle in mind. It has a longer base and a greater distance to the Lens. The tripod ring is equipped with a 90° locking mechanism that allows for smooth and secure rotation, and the base is compatible with Arca-Swiss compatible clamps.
Equipped with various functions to support shooting
There are various functions to support shooting, including AFL buttons in three different positions, a focus mode switch, a focus limiter switch, an OS switch (mode 1/2) and a custom mode switch.
