lightweight 30-liter backpack
The VEO METRO B30L is a lightweight 30-liter backpack that is suitable as hand luggage according to IATA guidelines and features a lower camera compartment, a removable upper daypack compartment, a laptop compartment (for up to 16-inch laptops) and expandable side pockets for a travel tripod or water bottle.

Suitable for professionals - customizable
The camera compartment is 300 mm wide, 320 mm high and between 135 and 150 mm deep, depending on the size of the laptop or the documents packed inside. This allows you to carry a professional camera with up to 5 Lens (up to 70-200 mm f2.8) separated by narrow, flexible dividers, maximizing the available space while protecting your equipment. These dividers can be customized to your needs or removed completely to convert it into an everyday backpack. Full access to the camera compartment is via the back for maximum security. From the top, you have quick access to your camera so you can be ready to shoot in seconds.
The top daypack compartment can be used to store everyday items or camera gear. It is 300 mm wide and 160 mm high and has a maximum depth of 135-160 mm. However, due to the shape of rucksacks, it tapers towards the top.
At the back of the compartment is another compartment with slots for a power bank, through which you can run a cable to your smartphone etc. to power it on the go. Access to the compartment is via the top of the bag, but is also designed for quick access from the back of the bag. This daypack compartment can also be removed so you can set up the backpack to access your camera from the top.

Secure laptop compartment
The laptop compartment is integrated into the back panel and measures 270 x 440 mm, providing space for a laptop up to 16 inches. It is well padded to keep both your laptop and camera equipment safe. The back panel also has additional storage pockets for a laptop up to 13 inches and other accessories such as cables.

Expandable side pockets and plenty of space
The backpack also offers several storage pockets. Expandable side pockets for a water bottle or tripod. Sealed pockets on the inside of the top flap for SD cards and accessories, while the sealed pockets on the outside of the flap and on the top front of the backpack can be used for other items. An expandable pocket for a smartphone is located on the right shoulder strap and a camera connection strap on the left shoulder strap (camera clip not included). Straps are also included to attach to the front of the bag to secure additional items such as a jacket.

Padded and secure
To protect your valuable equipment during your explorations, this backpack has a robust, well-padded body. There's also a hidden pocket under the trolley attachment strap on the back for a passport, cash and other important documents, as well as a separate hidden smart tracker pocket for AirTags or Tile trackers so you can easily find your pack if it gets misplaced.

Lightweight and durable
For years of use, this pack is made from lightweight but durable 300D polyester fabric that offers a textured look and feel. The fabric is designed for heavy-duty use and offers excellent water resistance and UV protection, so it will retain its color and texture for years to come. This performance is enhanced by a double-sided durable water repellent (DWR) coating and flood-resistant SBS zippers that ensure your gear stays protected in the city and elsewhere. The included rain cover keeps your gear dry in heavy rain.
For maximum comfort, this backpack is lightweight and weighs only 2100g. It features wide, padded shoulder straps with an adjustable sternum strap to prevent slippage and tension straps (also called load lifters) at the top of the shoulder straps to minimize movement. The padded hip belt can simply be tucked into the backpack when not in use so that it doesn't flap around and get in the way when traveling. The highly elastic foam back padding adapts to your body and has an integrated ventilation system to keep you cool on the move.
