Canon RF 100mm F2.8 in test
Canon launches the world's first mirrorless interchangeable autofocus macro lens with 1.4x magnification, making a statement in DSLM photography. A fixed focal length with which every tiny detail can be captured incredibly close and sharp. We were allowed to test the Lens ourselves and would like to share our experiences with you! Canon is also expanding its telephoto lens range with two super telephoto lenses: the RF 400mm f/2.8 and the 600mm f/4.0. There is also a new flagship in the mirrorless full-frame system camera range: the Canon EOS R3.

The EF 100mm f2.8 for SLR cameras was already convincing, but since Canon introduced the mirrorless series, there is now also the brilliant RF 100mm f2.8 macro lens for all DSLM enthusiasts. It impresses with an unbelievable 1.4x magnification, where even the smallest detail can be displayed even closer. Spherical aberrations can be easily controlled with a ring. Together with a soft focus effect, the fantastic bokeh can also be varied, making this lens an exquisite portrait lens. Macro and portrait photography in one!

Canon is now also launching two more telephoto lenses in the mirrorless series. The RF 400mm f/2.8 L IS USM and the RF 600mm f/4.0 L IS USM extend the telephoto lens range and impress with their incredible speed in the telephoto range.
The 400mm f/2.8 is perfect for sports, wildlife and action shots with the mirrorless system cameras of the EOS R series. In terms of quality, it performs particularly well in terms of performance, image quality and is built to the exacting standards of the L series.
