How do I find the right Lens for my next trip?
When choosing a lens, the agonizing question arises between the scope of the equipment, the image quality and the lens change. Classic travel lenses are Megazoom lenses. They cover an extremely large focal length range, so that you need to take fewer (or only one) lens with you and save yourself the hassle of constantly changing lenses. However, the large zoom range does not offer the quality that very good Zoom lenses with a shorter focal length range have. Even better quality is offered by Fixed focal lengths as these are optimized for just one focal length. They also allow you to take photos much more carefully because you can't zoom in and you have to think more carefully about the image section. However, you usually end up with several lenses in your luggage. So everyone has to decide for themselves how important the quality and the amount of luggage is.
