Lighting up the macro world
A Macrolite flash unit that's great for creative lighting in close-up photography, both on location and in the studio.


Creative flash close-up photography
The ring-shaped design allows for even illumination of small subjects - ideal for nature photographers shooting flowers or insects, or for shooting in scientific applications. E-TTL II flash metering for precise and easy flash exposure.


Creative use of shadow effects
The two flash tubes can be controlled independently with a 6-step exposure ratio - for versatile lighting options. If both tubes are fired evenly, shadow-free illumination is achieved; if one tube is brighter than the other, this results in slight shadows, thus emphasizing surface structures. The flash head of theMacro Ring Lite MR-14EX II can be rotated over the front of the Lens. This allows you to freely determine from which direction the main flash should shine.


Powerful
Powerful output with guide number 14 (ISO 100, m) enables the use of low aperture values for a large depth of field in close-up shots. Color temperature data is transferred to the camera for optimal automatic white balance during shooting.


Interaction with other flash units
The Macro Ring Lite MR-14EX II can be used as an optical master flash when working with multiple flash units, wirelessly triggering Speedlite flash units in slave mode. This is convenient when, for example, a second flash is needed to illuminate the background.

Control the Macro Ring Lite MR-14EX II using controls on your EOS camera or via an easy-to-read dot matrix display. A bright LED assist light to simplify image composition and focus in low-light conditions, plus Custom settings to personalize features and tailor them to the way you work.
