Compact and lightweight ultra-wide-angle zoom lens for mirrorless APS-C cameras.
The lightweight Lens with its wide angle of view of 82.8° to 120.9° is ideal for travel and a wide variety of situations and applications. From shots in confined spaces, classic landscape shots to portrait photography, many things are possible.

The speed of f/3,5-5 allows a very compact design and makes the LAOWA 8-16mm f/3.5-5 Zoom CF the ideal and lightweight vacation companion. In the robust metal housing, 16 elements in 11 groups ensure outstanding imaging performance. 2 of these elements are extra-low dispersion glass and 2 are aspherical lenses. The 5 aperture blades produce a very clear 10-ray sun star.

The front lens is coated with the water and dust-repellent 'Frog Eye Coating' (FEC). It gives your Lens an additional layer of protection compared to conventional coatings. The close focusing distance of only 20cm enables interesting perspectives with a striking foreground. Screw-in filters with 86mm thread can be used on the lens hood. The Lens is relatively light at approx. 463g.

It has an aperture ring with click switch mechanism that can be switched from click-stop to stepless. This makes it perfect for photographers and filmmakers alike. Focusing and aperture adjustment are manual.
