The Kidled2 is a headlamp specially designed for children aged 6 and over. Whether for reading, on the way to school, on night walks, as a colorful signal light or light toy: the versatile, battery-operated light impresses with numerous child-specific functions and details. The normal white light can be set to three brightness levels using the first switch. The second switch can be used to choose between red and blue light, which can also flash, even alternating between the two colors if desired.
The elastic, removable headband is washable and designed to open automatically under load. For a headlamp that is played with, this is just as important a safety feature as the screw-fastened battery compartment. The LED achieves a maximum of 40 lm (light range: up to 9 m), with a plastic attachment in frosted glass look reducing the glare effect. In the energy-saving brightness level with 5 lm, the headlamp achieves a runtime of up to 20 hours. Only one AAA battery is required for operation, which is included in the scope of delivery. Including the battery, the light weighs just 35 g. The head diameter is 5.4 cm.
The integrated metal clip allows it to be attached without a headband, e.g. to a school bag, rucksack or clothing. The headlamp can be set to switch off automatically after 20 minutes. Available in two designs: dinosaurs or rainbow. CE and CPSIA compliant.
