The NiSi Athena 50mm Lens is an excellent choice for demanding photographers and videographers looking for the highest image quality and creative flexibility. The lens is available with E, RF, G, L and PL mounts for comprehensive compatibility with different camera types.

The Lens has a generous aperture range from T1.9 to T22. It enables impressive shots in a wide range of lighting conditions and opens up a multitude of creative possibilities. The focal length of 50 mm is ideal for portraits and enables natural image reproduction without artificial-looking distortions.

Thanks to the precise micro-contrast optimization and the remarkable minimization of colour errors, these Lens deliver an incomparably clear image quality that precisely reproduces even the finest image details. Athena prime lenses are specifically designed to minimize focus-breathing and maintain framing and composition. The result is smooth and even focusing. Fluorescent scales optimize readability in low light conditions, in the studio or when shooting at night. This makes focusing even easier.

The lenses have been developed for full-frame cameras with an image circle of 46 mm, for optimum utilization of the entire sensor area and high image quality right up to the edges - ideal for high-resolution full-frame cameras.

Drop-in filter
The integration of drop-in filters in the E-, RF- and L-mount versions (PL-mount is equipped with a rear filter holder) is another special feature of the NiSi Athena Prime Cinema Lens. This innovative filter solution allows filmmakers to insert ND or Vario ND filters directly into the Lens without having to change the front lens. This speeds up filter changes and reduces the risk of dust and dirt on the lens.
