The D7500 produces razor-sharp images with high resolution and rich tonal reproduction. You benefit from the phenomenal precision of scene recognition and outstanding image quality at high ISO values. The quality of the 4K/UHD videos will amaze you. And with the camera's built-in Picture Control system, you can easily add your own style, whether you're taking photos or recording videos.

Amazing light sensitivity.

Outstanding in low light. With sensitivity settings from ISO 100 to ISO 51,200 (expandable up to an ISO equivalent of 1,640,000), the D7500 is not afraid of the dark.
The fast EXPEED 5 image processing engine ensures remarkable image quality across the entire ISO range. Even the finest noise is significantly reduced. Even cropped enlargements taken at high ISO sensitivity do not lose any of their quality. The "Hi 5" setting corresponds to the incredible ISO value of 1,640,000 and gets everything out of the available residual light.

Precisely exposed shots and dynamic compositions. RGB light metering sensor with approx. 180,000 pixels and advanced scene recognition system.
The camera is equipped with an RGB light metering sensor with approx. 180,000 pixels and the "advanced scene recognition system" function, so that shots are also successful when the subjects are small or moving quickly. For high-contrast subjects, the light-based exposure metering prioritizes the brightest areas in the image section to avoid images with blown-out highlights.

The AF system with 51 points follows every subject, focuses on it and precisely tracks the focus. Even in moonlight.
The AF system contains 15 centrally arranged cross-type sensors and works with impressive precision down to -3 EV. This allows you to take razor-sharp pictures even at night without additional light. Area group control offers improved subject recognition and focus tracking when shooting relatively small subjects that are close to a high-contrast or distracting background.

Open up a new dimension of filming. Record videos with ultra-fine resolution and up to 30 frames per second.
Impressive videos in 4K/UHD 30p or Full HD (1080p) with frame rates up to 50p/60p. The camera allows uncompressed HDMI output: this can even be done simultaneously to an external device and to the camera's internal SD memory card. You can optimize videos for smart devices by recording in MP4 or AAC format. Nikon's electronic image stabilizer significantly minimizes the effects of camera shake when shooting Full HD movies handheld.

This makes it easy to create 4K/UHD time-lapse movies with the camera. Exposure compensation reduces unwanted flickering effects when recording with one of the automatic exposure modes such as aperture priority.

Never miss the decisive moment again. You can record up to 50 shots (lossless compressed 14-bit RAW) at a frame rate of approx. 8 fps. Or take up to 100 JPEG images with the "Fine" quality level and image size "L" in just one quick series of shots. Comprehensive focus tracking and exposure adjustment during continuous shooting prevents loss of quality despite the high speed.

Tilt the touch screen and touch controls.

Adventurous subjects are everywhere. Tap the flat tilting touchscreen monitor to focus. Shoot videos and photos from an overhead position or fascinating angles.
The 8 cm (3.2 inch) diagonal tilting monitor allows you to control the autofocus and shutter release with the touch controls when shooting in Live View. And thanks to the easily accessible control dial and multi-function selector, you can easily change camera settings while shooting.
