The appearance of the Nikon Z FC is strongly reminiscent of the FM2 analog SLR camera. Both the surface structure and the Nikon logo engraved on the pentaprism viewfinder of the Z FC are reminiscent of the classic SLR camera. In contrast to the camera from the age of analog photography, the Nikon Z FC contains the latest technology. The body is also more robust than its predecessor, as it is made of a robust magnesium alloy.

APS-C sensor and Z-mount for sharp and detailed photos

Thanks to the APS-C sensor, photos can be taken that look wonderfully vivid, even at a higher sensitivity. As the sensor is smaller than the full-frame format, it allows for a compact design. The compact, apochromatic macro lens with high speed was designed for Nikon Z mount in APS-C format (Nikon DX format).
The maximum aperture of F 2.0 is exceptionally high compared to other macro lenses. Despite this, the Lens has remained very compact in design. High image quality is guaranteed over the entire distance range, making the lens very versatile.

The new Voigtländer Macro APO-Ultron D35mm F2 also features a solid and robust all-metal construction. The Helicoid ring enables silky-smooth focusing from infinity to the closest focusing distance of 16.3 cm, at which a reproduction scale of 1:2 is achieved. Thanks to the front focusing system, in which the front four lens groups are moved together, the extension length remains pleasantly short when focusing.
A compact lens hood is included in the scope of delivery.
The lens is equipped with electronic contacts and enables communication between the lens and the Body.

In addition to the Exif information and the camera's internal image stabilization (3 axes), the combination with a compatible Body and the latest firmware (* 1) supports three types of focusing functions:

(1) Focusing by changing the colour of the focus point frame

Fantastic nifty-fifty with decent macro
This lens has ~52.5mm equivalent of focal length on full-frame cameras. The build quality is top notch, all metal and glass, with a metal lens hood (it's a pity that it's not very easy to attach the top lens cap when the hood is on, though). The aperture and focus rings are pleasant to adjust, although since it's a macro lens, the focus ring requires more time to skip through all the numerous close distance presets and it doesnt have many presets for mid to far range distances. The lens is sharp at f/2 already, corner to corner. The bokeh is present but not as creamy as the Nokton lenses have. The colors are punchy! Better than in reality. The chromatic aberrations are almost non-existent, especially if you don't point your camera directly at the sun (but even so, they are minimal, compared to regular lenses). The Nikon focus confirmation system works perfectly - this lens has CPU contacts which allows easier focusing and also writing of EXIF data. My Z50II camera doesnt have an IBIS and nevertheless it was easy to focus without a tripod. The macro is good but not outstanding since it's just 1:2. Nevertheless, it worked perfectly for close-up shots of pastry that my wife makes. I also recommend buying 52mm filters. Best Voigtl?nder APS-C lens for Nikon Z, hands-down. The lens is also compact and not heavy

Charmante kleine Kamera
Ich nutze die Nikon Z fc jetzt schon einige Zeit.
Gute Menüführung und Schnellzugriff. Der Autofocus könnte etwas schneller sein. Leider fehlt auch der Bildstabilisator. Ansonsten macht die Kamera einfach Spaß.
