Unlike the standard straps supplied, this camera strap is made from robust hand-braided paracord, which is used by parachutists, for example. In the military, paracord is considered a versatile all-purpose cord. Its flexibility and stability have long ensured that paracord is also used in the outdoor sector, for example by mountaineers.
