Compact macro lens with medium focal length
Ultra-compact (world's smallest and lightest) macro/portrait lens with 1:1 macro magnification, F2.8 aperture, fast and super-smooth focusing and weather resistance for various macro/portrait/product photos and videos. With a new optical design and a newly developed two-phase linear motor, the new LUMIX S 100mm is the world's smallest and lightest* macro lens, weighing approximately 298g. This lightweight, compact design allows for unrivaled mobility and flexibility in a variety of shooting scenarios. The lens benefits from a new focus mechanism and achieves superior tracking performance with fast and accurate autofocus.

With its 100mm focal length, the new lens not only produces life-size close-ups, but also impressive portraits only found in medium telephoto lenses, and uses its large aperture to capture high quality images with beautiful bokeh.

The most compact and lightweight macro Lens*
A compact, lightweight macro Lens for mobile use. Captures the delicate beauty of flowers and the life of insects in life-size images. Reproduces realistic images with uncompromisingly high performance. Dual focus system and new two-phase linear motor provide fast, high-resolution focusing. The superior optical performance ensures high resolution, smooth bokeh and light reflection that expresses every kind of beauty.

Half the weight and two-thirds shorter
While macro Lens are usually quite large, Panasonic has succeeded in significantly reducing the overall size with its unique technologies. Compared to conventional macro Lens, the LUMIX S 100mm F2.8 MAKRO is about two-thirds shorter and half the weight. With a total weight of only approx. 1000g in combination with the LUMIX S5II, the compact and lightweight system can be operated with one hand.

Life-size close-ups
With a maximum magnification of 1x, you can capture your subject life-size. Capture the delicate beauty of flowers, the life of insects, the fine details of handicrafts, the texture of food and much more.
The Lens is not only suitable for macro photography, but also for a variety of other applications, such as portraits and landscape photography in the medium telephoto range.

Optical design of the S-E100
The optimized configuration comprises 13 elements in 11 groups, including 3 aspherical elements as well as 2 UED and 1 ED lenses, and offers minimal aberrations and excellent resolution.

Ideal for video shooting
The Lens offers fast, precise autofocus and smooth aperture transitions, which is crucial for content creators today. This allows you to capture impressive 4K videos and images without disturbing your subject.

Dust, splash and frost resistant
Thanks to its dust and splash-proof design, this Lens is designed for shooting in the most demanding conditions and allows you to shoot in temperatures as low as -10 °C.
"Dust and splash proof" is not a guarantee that damage will not occur if this Lens is exposed to direct contact with dust and water.
