With the LUMIX S 85mm F1.8, Panasonic introduces a fast lens for Lumix S full-frame cameras with a medium telephoto fixed focal length, which is particularly suitable for portrait photography thanks to its angle of view. The Lens offers outstanding mobility thanks to its compact size (length: 8.2 cm) and light weight of approx. 355 g. It also features a dust- and splash-resistant design and can be used in the harshest conditions down to -10°C. The filter diameter is 67 mm and its 9-blade circular aperture provides a particularly attractive bokeh. It also ensures high-quality video recording by minimizing focus breathing as best as possible with the Lens.

Der Klassiker für Portraits
Mit diesem Objektiv bekommt ihr einen sehr scharfen und schnell arbeitenden Klassiker für Portraitfotografie geliefert. Verzeichnung und Vignettierung sind sehr gering und werden per RAW-Converter problemlos ausgebügelt. Durch die Blende von 1.8 erhaltet ihr ein traumhaftes Bokeh bei geringer Schärfentiefe und schöner Kompression des Hintergrundes. Die Naheinstellgrenze ist leider recht hoch und der Abbildungsmaßstab nicht der allerbeste. Das können andere Linsen besser. Das erste Modell, das ich von diesem Objektiv hatte, war leider fehlerhaft. Hier machte der Autofokusmotor extreme Geräusche, was auf einen Defekt hindeutete.
