Benjamin Hardman with the OM-D E-M1X in Iceland
Benjamin was sent on an adventure in the Arctic north of Iceland to test the new OM-D E-M1X to test it out. He immortalized great moments with the new professional flagship from Olympus in the midst of extreme cold, snow and ice.

Why do you think the new Olympus camera was the perfect companion on this trip?
The incredible stabilization in the body of the E-M1X meant that I could be sure of capturing a clean and sharp image, even in the darkest conditions, at very slow shutter speeds. In addition, the camera's good weather sealing allowed me to brave the conditions of an Icelandic winter. I never have to worry about the camera being affected by rain, dust or snow.
Which feature has helped you the most when shooting with the new OM-D E-M1X and why?
The incredible and reliable image stabilization really came in handy on my project in Iceland and allowed me to capture sharp images of animals in very low light conditions. In addition, the new 50MP resolution mode allowed me to capture some really interesting scenes with rapidly changing light conditions. In these situations, there wasn't enough time to take the camera off a tripod and set up the shot, so this would have been impossible without this option!
EXIF Data: OM-D E-M1X l M.Zuiko 17mm PRO | f1.2 | ISO 400 | 13secPhotographer: Benjamin HardmanWhat lenses did you use in your setup?
My most important lenses for the E-M1X in Iceland were the M.Zuiko Pro lenses: 7-14mm f/2.8, 40-150mm f/2.8, 17mm f/1.2 and the 300mm f/4 IS Pro. These give me the freedom to react to any photographic situation and never miss the perfect shot again. Check out the Instagram channel of Benjamin Hardman take a look.
