Interview with professional photographers about the Olympus flagship E-M1X

We have divided the interviews into three parts for you, which we will publish one after the other. Enjoy reading them! You can access the hands-on of the new E-M1X here:

Hands on: The brand new Olympus OM-D E-M1X
2019 will be a very special year for Olympus: Olympus is celebrating its 100th anniversary. To mark the occasion, Olympus wants to come up with a very special camera and today officially unveiled the new Olympus OM-D E-M1X today. It is supposed to be the new flagship and we were allowed to take an exclusive look at the highlight before it went on sale. Admittedly, we were a little surprised. At first glance, it is "only" a slightly larger E-M1 Mark II which still has a Micro Four Thirds sensor, whereas last year at Photokina full-frame was the big topic (Canon,Nikon,L-Mount). At second glance, however, you quickly realize that the camera has it all. It impresses with its speed, compactness, robustness and wide range of functions. This makes it the perfect tool, especially for demanding nature, travel and sports photographers who travel a lot and also like to take pictures in extreme situations. The Olympus OM-D E-M1X is dust and splash-proof as well as frost-proof down to -10 ?C, which corresponds to the IPX1 standard and, according to Olympus, even exceeds it. This makes the new mirrorless system camera particularly suitable for outdoor use and, in combination with its relatively small and lightweight design, perfect for travelers. Although it is quite a bit larger than the OM-D E-M1 Mark II due to the fixed battery grip, it is still compact compared to other professional cameras.
