Cosplay shooting for Japan Day | Markus Igel
Live shooting contribution as part of our Fototage (May 20-23, 2022)
Markus IgelMarkus Igel shows you the world of cosplay in this live shoot. He will focus on how to position the model, what you need to pay particular attention to and show you how to realize such a shoot in practice.
About Markus Igel: "Due to my direct proximity to D?sseldorf and Japanese culture, I came to cosplay photography after I got into photography & digital art through my vocational school. In recent years, I have not only worked with a few international cosplayers, but have also had smaller collaborations with publishers in between. For me, cosplay photography is a creative means to perfectly place cosplayers in the scene of the movie, game or anime. The most important thing for me in this type of photography is playing with the different lights, be it flash, continuous light or available light. Posing plays an essential role in capturing the mood perfectly in the end!"
