Novelty Nikon D7500

Novelty Nikon D7500

A new DX highlight: The Nikon D7500

Nikon today unveiled the new D7500, a digital SLR camera for ambitious photographers. It promises the same image quality as the DX flagship D500but with fewer functions. This makes it the ideal solution for all aspiring photographers who are looking for the best possible image quality but do not need all the features of the higher-priced D500. With 20.9 megapixels, the EXPEED 5 image processor and a DX-CMOS sensor, the D7500 ensures low-noise, detailed and sharp images. The new DSLR also shows its strengths in the dark. With an ISO range of up to 51,200 (expandable to ISO 1,640,000) and the camera's internal electronic image stabilizer, it delivers the best possible results at any time of day or night. Videos are recorded in super-sharp 4K/UHD. The optical viewfinder or the tilting touch display are ideal for controlling the image during shooting. Thanks to Nikon's SnapBridge technology, which works via Bluetooth and WiFi, sharing images and remote control from a smart device is very easy.

Information from the manufacturer:

You never know where the search for the perfect picture will take you. Take the powerful and agile D7500 with comprehensive connectivity. Capture the beauty of your subjects with the DX premium image quality inherited from Nikon's top-of-the-range D500. Inspire your ambition. Image quality of the top model D500. Here. Or there. In the dark or in the light. The shot of a lifetime - finally within reach. DX format sensor with 20.9 megapixels. EXPEED 5. RGB light metering sensor with approx. 180,000 pixels.
The D7500 produces razor-sharp images with high resolution and rich tonal rendition. You benefit from the phenomenal precision of scene recognition and outstanding image quality at high ISO values. The quality of the 4K/UHD videos will amaze you. And with the camera's built-in Picture Control system, you can easily add your own style, whether you're taking photos or recording videos. Amazing light sensitivity. Outstanding in low light. With sensitivity settings from ISO 100 to ISO 51,200 (expandable up to an ISO equivalent of 1,640,000), the D7500 is not afraid of the dark.
The fast EXPEED 5 image processing engine ensures remarkable image quality across the entire ISO range. Even the finest noise is significantly reduced. Even cropped enlargements taken at high ISO sensitivity do not lose any of their quality. The "Hi 5" setting corresponds to the incredible ISO value of 1,640,000 and gets everything out of the available residual light. Fix the details. Phenomenal scene recognition. Precisely exposed shots and dynamic compositions. RGB exposure metering sensor with approx. 180,000 pixels and advanced scene recognition system.
The camera is equipped with an RGB exposure metering sensor with approx. 180,000 pixels and the "advanced scene recognition system" function, so that shots are also successful when the subjects are small or moving quickly. For high-contrast subjects, the light-sensitive exposure metering prioritizes the brightest areas in the frame to avoid images with blown-out highlights. Always in focus. Extreme AF precision. The AF system with 51 points follows every subject, brings it into focus and tracks the focus precisely. Even in moonlight.
The AF system contains 15 centrally arranged cross-type sensors and works with impressive precision down to -3 EV. This allows you to take razor-sharp pictures even at night without additional light. Area group control offers improved subject detection and focus tracking when shooting relatively small subjects that are close to a high-contrast or distracting background. Cinema ready. 4K/UHD videos. Open up a new dimension of filming. Record videos with ultra-fine resolution and up to 30 frames per second.
Impressive videos in 4K/UHD 30p or Full HD (1080p) with frame rates up to 50p/60p. The camera allows uncompressed HDMI output: this can even be done simultaneously on an external device and on the camera's internal SD memory card. You can optimize videos for smart devices by recording in MP4 or AAC format. Nikon's electronic image stabilizer significantly minimizes the effects of camera shake when shooting Full HD movies handheld. Capture change. Time-lapse movies. Turn street scenes or sunrises into dramatic high-speed sequences - with the integrated interval timer and the function for time-lapse recordings in 4K/UHD format.
This makes it easy to create 4K/UHD time-lapse movies with the camera. Exposure compensation reduces unwanted flicker effects when recording with one of the automatic exposure modes such as aperture priority. Continuous shooting at 8 frames per second. For the ultimate shot - even if it's hidden in a swirl of movement. Capture up to 50 NEF (RAW) or 100 JPEG images in a quick burst.
Never miss the decisive moment again. You can record up to 50 shots (lossless compressed 14-bit RAW) at a frame rate of approx. 8 fps. Or take up to 100 JPEG images with the "Fine" quality level and "L" image size in just one quick series of shots. Comprehensive focus tracking and exposure adjustment during continuous shooting prevents loss of quality despite the high speed. Tilt the touch screen and touch controls. Adventurous subjects are everywhere. Tap the flat tilting touchscreen monitor to focus. Shoot videos and photos from an overhead position or from fascinating angles.
The 8 cm (3.2 inch) diagonal tilting monitor allows you to control the autofocus and shutter release with the touch controls when shooting in Live View. And thanks to the easy-to-reach control dial and multi-function selector, you can easily change camera settings while shooting. High-resolution optical viewfinder. The ultimate image - captured without any distractions. The optical viewfinder with pentaprism and an image field coverage of approx. 100 % makes this possible.
The optical system of the viewfinder ensures an incredibly clear live image. Sunlight, light reflections and movements outside the field of view are blocked: The viewfinder image corresponds exactly to the shot. And if you are using a telephoto lens, the viewfinder allows you to adopt a position that gives you a better grip. Share the thrill. SnapBridge. SnapBridge keeps your camera connected to your smart device. Synchronize photos as you take them. Shoot remotely with a smart device.
SnapBridge from Nikon permanently connects the D7500 to a smart device via Bluetooth? Low Energy. The camera synchronizes photos with the smart device as soon as you take a photo. There is no need to reconnect. You can transfer films at any time using the camera's integrated Wi-Fi? function. You can also control the camera remotely with a smart device via the SnapBridge connection. Break free from old habits. DX agility. Handy, powerful and full of energy. The D7500 perfectly captures your most ambitious image ideas.
The D7500 is equipped with a deep grip that makes the camera an extension of your hand. You can shoot and film for long periods on a single charge. The high-performance shutter mechanism has been tested to 150,000 release cycles. And the camera body is sealed against the elements so that dust and droplets cannot penetrate and damage the electronics.
