The fixed focal length and zoom lenses give you perfect full-frame performance. An incredibly high level of detail is guaranteed in photo and video shooting. Even the corners of the image are captured perfectly and with great detail. The Z bayonet mount, with its large 55mm diameter, allows your Nikon Z lenses to direct more light to even the most distant angles of view. The small flange focal distance (the distance between the bayonet mount and the image sensor) enables visible minimization of light fall-off from the center of the image to the edges. A continuous light intensity ensures excellent performance in heavy light conditions. Exposure is kept constant throughout the zoom range without having to resort to high ISO values. This also ensures maximum image quality. With their exceptionally high resolutions, Nikon Z lenses capture every small individual element of your subject in razor-sharp detail. Detailed images with rich colors and clear contrast in the entire image circle are preprogrammed. Nikon's proprietary ARNEO anti-reflective technologies and a nanocrystal coating also make a major contribution. The two elements enable brilliant colors and a significant reduction of ghost images and flare even in backlit situations. Imaging errors are almost completely corrected. Spot light sources appear as naturally round points in your image. All Nikon Z lenses support the camera's built-in image stabilizer (VR), which allows you to use exposure times that are up to 5 stops slower. So you can shoot sharp photos even in the fading light of the evening. The image stabilizer also guarantees video recordings without camera shake. Independently movable lens groups ("floating elements") enable precise focusing even at close distances. Thanks to an electromagnetic aperture control, exposure is always precise and constant even during fast continuous shooting.
