The Z bayonet mount, with its large 55mm diameter, allows your Nikon Z lenses to direct more light to even the most distant angles of view. The small flange focal distance (the distance between the bayonet mount and the image sensor) enables visible minimization of light fall-off from the center of the image to the edges. A continuous light intensity ensures excellent performance in heavy light conditions. Exposure is kept constant throughout the zoom range without having to resort to high ISO values. This also ensures maximum image quality. With their exceptionally high resolutions, Nikon Z lenses capture every small individual element of your subject in razor-sharp detail. Detailed images with rich colors and clear contrast in the entire image circle are preprogrammed. Nikon's proprietary ARNEO anti-reflective technologies and a nanocrystal coating also make a major contribution.
