About the photographer

Marion Payr loves to travel, discover fascinating places and meet interesting people. She is also a mentor of the Nikon Female Facets project. Marion Payr has no classical photography education, but studied journalism and media management. She made her first experiences with photography in her childhood days: "I had a purple analog child's camera and then also one or the other compact camera. Nevertheless, photography was not a big topic for me in the beginning. That changed in 2011 when I signed up for Instagram. At that time, I rediscovered photography for myself. A passion developed that quickly ensured that I swapped my smartphone for a real camera."
