The right light for every moment
The MT-26EX-RT is designed as a tong flash with two adjustable flash heads that can be positioned around the Lens in five-degree increments. The flash heads can also be swiveled horizontally and vertically and therefore always provide the right light for the task at hand. As a result, even the smallest details are captured with distinction - ideal for product or macro photography. The guide number of the MT-26EX-RT has been increased to 26 (ISO 100) for both tubes. It has a white LED AF auxiliary light that supports autofocus in dark ambient light.
The MT-26EX-RT is supplied with bounce adapters on each flash head. This allows the light from the flash to hit the subject more gently, creating a natural image effect. The flash now also has flash output control to ensure correct exposure even when shooting with an open aperture or from a short distance. The time required to charge the flash is just 5.5 seconds - which is even reduced to 2.5 seconds when the optional CP-E4N compact battery magazine is used. Flash readiness and charging status are shown on the LCD display. In addition to fast charging, the extended service life of the flash tubes significantly reduces the need for maintenance.
Maximum creative control
The MT-26EX-RT has master functionality and can therefore also control other Speedlite flash units. In addition to control via infrared, the Twin Lite offers the option of controlling up to 15 external Speedlites in up to five groups via radio. This enables complex illumination or the targeted setting of accents, for example to achieve a better separation between the subject and background. The camera uses E-TTL to take over the complete exposure control. The power settings of each flash can of course also be set manually. This ensures that the output remains controllable and the results exactly reproducible. Each flash unit can also be applied to different exposure control methods for further flexibility and control - for example, in a mixture of manual and E-TTL settings.
For improved control and fast, effortless operation, the MT-26EX-RT features a redesigned graphical display and controls based on Speedlite's top-of-the-range 600EX II-RT model. The sturdy metal flash base with locking switch contributes to stability and ensures reliable communication between flash and camera.

Each light can be individually positioned and adjusted on the retaining ring to perfectly suit the subject. They can be removed from the mounting rail and can be attached to external holders such as camera or lamp tripods thanks to the integrated tripod base.
Extremely bright LEDs
The brightness of the AF auxiliary lights can be adjusted, making it easier to focus and align before shooting. The auxiliary lights are activated with a double press of the camera shutter release.
Control via infrared or radio
The dual flash unit can also be used as a master flash, allowing other Speedlites to be triggered by radio or infrared.
Creative lighting with custom functions
Control the shadow hardness with the special bounce adapter. Custom settings can be individually configured to control various aspects of the flash output, such as the brightness of the AF auxiliary light or the flash intensity.
Intuitive, optimized operation
The same controls found on other Speedlites increase the usability of this flash unit. A sturdy metal plug-in base with locking switch ensures a reliable connection to the camera.
