Fast and flexible charging
The DJI Power 2000 can be charged flexibly via mains power, solar energy, a car socket and via intelligent hybrid charging. Whether at home or on the go - choose the most convenient charging method for you and ensure reliable power and maximum convenience at all times.
Mains power supply
Connect quickly and easily, charge and get started. When connected to the mains, the DJI Power 2000 supports fast charging with up to 2200 W. It can reach 80% charge in just 45 minutes[1] and is fully charged in just 75 minutes[1]. Even if you only start charging just before you set off, you can rest assured that you will be ready to go at any time.
Solar power
Economical and environmentally friendly, the DJI Power 2000 can be quickly charged with up to 1800 W[8] of solar power - using the DJI Power 1.8kW Solar/Auto Super Fast Charger[5], it is fully charged in just 75 minutes[9].
Vehicle battery
The Powerstation can also be easily charged on the go with the DJI Power 1 kW Car Super Fast Charger[5] or the 1.8kW Solar/Car Super Fast Charger. [5] Both chargers use the excess energy from the alternator to quickly recharge the Power 2000 - ideal for traveling by car and motorhome[26]. The Powerstation is fully charged in just 145 minutes[10].
Intelligent hybrid charging
Charging with alternating and direct current is environmentally friendly and highly efficient. While using mains power, the Power 2000 can be charged with solar and/or car power. With an expansion battery[5], the charging power can be increased to 3000 W[11], which quickly replenishes your energy storage. Intelligent charging prioritizes clean solar energy, reduces power consumption from the grid and saves costs. Particularly practical when camping with a motorhome[26] or as an emergency power solution.
UPS mode: Seamless emergency power supply
If a device is connected via the AC output of a switched-on DJI Power 2000 and both are supplied with mains power, the Power 2000 switches to UPS mode (uninterruptible power supply). In the event of a sudden power failure, the DJI Power 2000 can supply power to the connected devices within 0.01 seconds[12] to ensure continuous and worry-free operation.
Grid-connected energy storage
The DJI Power 2000 can be connected directly to the power grid and integrated into balcony solar systems without additional accessories. Charge the Powerstation with solar panels during the day. As soon as it is fully charged, the surplus power is fed into the grid. *When the Powerstation is connected to the grid, the output power is 800 W and the AC sockets are disabled. For supported countries, see the DJI FAQ page.
Advanced safety and ultra-quiet operation
Uninterrupted sleep thanks to ultra-quiet operation
In standard charging mode, the DJI Power 2000 produces only up to 29 dB of noise - quieter than most household refrigerators.[13] Its ultra-quiet performance allows for normal nighttime operation and ensures a full charge after a restful night.
All-round safety
The DJI Power 2000 has safety as its top priority: every detail is carefully considered, from the housing structure and cell chemistry to the system software. It also features an advanced power management system that keeps the battery level stable for long periods of time, even when switched off, so that the power station is always ready for use. [14]
We have chosen LFP (lithium iron phosphate) as the battery cell technology. It is safe and does not explode even if punctured. It offers a long service life and retains 80% of its capacity after 4000 charging cycles [15]. With one full charge cycle per day, a battery can work reliably for up to ten years [16].
The intelligent battery management system (BMS) offers comprehensive protection. The power station is equipped with 26 temperature sensors that continuously monitor heat dissipation. This allows the device to work reliably even at high temperatures of up to 45 °C [12]. In addition, 21 fuses ensure that each module is protected. If the safety threshold for power consumption is exceeded, the protective mechanism for power supply and charging is activated automatically to prevent accidents.
The BMS uses a new sub-nano coating that protects the battery even better.
A new encapsulation process is also used to protect the inverter and ensure safe operation in rain, condensation and salt spray [17]. This makes the device ideal for carefree use when camping by the sea or driving at high altitudes.[18]
The power station is made of flame-retardant materials that prevent falls and impacts from causing open flames.[19] It can also withstand a static load of up to 1 tonne[12], making it exceptionally reliable.
Versatile solutions for every scenario
Comprehensive and versatile expandability
The DJI Power 2000 is equipped with two full SDC ports, expanding your power ecosystem. It can be combined with accessories such as expansion batteries, the 1 kW car super fast charger, the 1.8 kW solar/car super fast charger and fast charging cables for drones to meet the need for backup power at home, during short camping trips, long RV trips, film and TV productions and many other applications.
Power reserves for the home
The Power 2000 can be connected to up to ten 2048 Wh expansion batteries[5], providing a power reserve of up to 22,528 Wh[6]. This generous capacity can easily cope with power peaks or sudden outages caused by natural disasters. It can also be combined with a 1.8kW solar/car super fast charger[5] for fast charging with up to 1800W of solar power[8]. Together they provide up to 1200W of solar power and 600W of continuous car power to quickly charge a Power 2000 - with a full charge taking only about 75 minutes. [21]. If you're parked at a campsite, you can use both the on-site power grid and solar panels for hybrid charging. This ensures a continuous power supply for your entire trip.
Film and TV production
With a large capacity of 2048 Wh, it reliably supplies more photo and lighting equipment with power. It also supports DJI Power SDC super-fast charging with up to 240 W[3] for selected DJI drone batteries[22], allowing you to take off after just 30 minutes - thanks to doubled charging efficiency[23]. With two to three drone batteries, you can fly and film all day long:
Mavic 3 Series Intelligent Flight Battery: approx. 32 minutes - battery level from 10 to 95%
Air 3 Series Intelligent Flight Battery: approx. 30 minutes - battery level from 10 to 95%
Matrice 4 Series Intelligent Flight Battery: approx. 35 minutes - battery level from 10 to 95%
