In general, 200mm f/2 Lens are very heavy, extremely expensive and unaffordable for many photographers. With the AF 200mm f/2 for full-frame cameras, LAOWA is bringing such a lens onto the market in a lightweight design at an attractive price.

The Lens offers legendary bokeh, stunning compression and outstanding performance, even in low light conditions. A dream combination of large aperture + professional optics in a compact, handy design for portrait, wildlife, sports and event photographers who value the highest quality.

43mm rear filter holder (Sony E / Nikon Z version only)

The long focal length compresses the background, making it appear closer, more dramatic and dreamy. This effect is particularly effective in portraits and sports shots, where the subject appears isolated and dominant in the image.

The precise and fast autofocus ensures sharp results even when tracking fast-moving subjects. The focus can be easily switched to manual focus.

In the version for Sony E-mount or Nikon Z-mount, the Lens has a practical integrated 43mm rear filter holder for ND or other filters. This eliminates the need for expensive and bulky 105mm front filters.

With its low weight of approx. 1,588g (EF version), the Lens is significantly lighter than 200mm f/2 models from other manufacturers. This makes it ideal for hand-held shots and longer exposures.

You can assign a frequently used function to the FN button for quick access, e.g. ISO, white balance or autofocus mode. (There are 5 FN buttons on the Body, but only one function can be assigned)

The focus range can be changed from "Full" to "5m-∞". The autofocus is then limited to focusing on subjects that are at least 5 meters away. This setting can speed up focusing considerably.

With a minimum focusing distance of 150cm, photographers can get closer to their subjects to capture complex details or small objects with precision.

The optical design of 11 elements in 9 groups effectively minimizes chromatic aberrations and ensures sharp edges, precise colour reproduction and clear image quality even in high-contrast scenes.

The tripod clamp has a locking screw. This allows the orientation of the camera to be changed and fixed as required.
The lens base is Arca-Swiss compatible.
