The integrated teleconverter enables focal lengths of up to 1,000 mm (35 mm equivalent) with a constant aperture of F5.6. Particularly astonishing: despite its enormous zoom power, it weighs just 1,875 g and is 314.3 mm long. The powerful image stabilization also enables razor-sharp hand-held shots. Less is more. Simply take carefree photos. The ultra-zoom revolution has begun.

High-resolution super-telephoto zoom lens for shooting up to 1000 ^mm* focal length
The lens has a built-in 1.25x teleconverter, which offers high optical performance and enables up to 1000 ^mm* super-telephoto hand-held shooting. The optional M.Zuiko Digital 1.4x teleconverter MC-14 and the M.Zuiko Digital 2x teleconverter MC-20 are also supported. In combination with the MC-20, this Lens then enables focal lengths of up to an astonishing 2000 ^mm*. The M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm F4.5 TC1.25x IS PRO offers a close focusing distance of 1.3m over the entire zoom range and close-ups with a maximum image magnification of 0.^57x*, which increases to 0.^71x* when using the built-in teleconverter for true telephoto macro shots. The sophisticated lens construction consists of 28 elements in 18 groups, including a newly developed large-diameter extra-low dispersion aspherical lens and four super-extra-low dispersion lenses. This guarantees reduced reflections and color gradients as well as excellent resolution right up to the edges of the image, even with a large-diameter lens with a fixed aperture of F4.5 over the entire zoom range. The Z Coating Nano technology developed by Olympus ensures sharp and clear images even in difficult shooting environments, such as backlighting.

Compact, lightweight and weather-resistant design
The lens body of the M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm F4.5 TC1.25x IS PRO is made of magnesium alloy. The lens hood is made of lightweight carbon fiber and prevents the center of gravity of the lens from shifting towards the end when using the lens hood. The use of high-quality materials in all areas of the Lens helps to maintain the highest performance and precision while achieving a compact, lightweight design with a length of only 314.3 mm and a weight of 1,875 ^g***. Settings and functions can be easily adjusted during shooting. Like the OM-D E-M1X, the Lens is dust, splash and freeze resistant - perfect for shooting in harsh conditions. Compared to the black coating of conventional lenses, the heat-resistant coating of this model efficiently reflects the infrared rays of sunlight. This prevents the temperature inside the Lens from rising, even in hot weather. The front element of the lens has a fluorine coating, which provides a smooth and scratch-resistant surface and makes cleaning easier.

World's strongest 5-axis Sync-IS image stabilization with up to 8 ^EV stops** and fast, high-precision autofocus
The M.Zuiko Digital ED 150-400mm F4.5 TC1.25x IS PRO supports the 5-axis Sync-IS. At a focal length of 300 mm*, it achieves the world's strongest image stabilization of 8 ^EV stops**. Even when extending the telephoto range up to 2000 ^mm* by using the optional MC-20 teleconverter, image stabilization is still available. Due to its high image quality when shooting handheld, the Lens is a perfect addition especially for wildlife, nature and sports photographers. The extremely thin lens manufacturing technology developed by Olympus enables the production of lightweight focusing lenses that guarantee fast and high-precision focusing over the entire zoom range.
