Product description for Sony Alpha 6400a (ILCE-6400A) + SEL 18-135mm OSS

The α6400A has the fastest hybrid AF in its class with high-precision "real-time eye AF" and "real-time tracking" thanks to 425 phase and contrast AF points each. Brilliant image quality at max. 11 fps thanks to the new APS-C sensor and BIONZ X processor.

The kit includes the Sony SEL 3.5-5.6/18-135 mm OSS Lens.

The compact Alpha 6400A system camera with APS-C sensor is not only equipped with the fastest autofocus in its class (0.02 sec. focus speed). It also has several new functions that make the autofocus with its 425 phases and contrast autofocus points and eye autofocus even more precise - such as "Real Time Eye Autofocus" and "Real Time Tracking".

The Alpha 6400A can take up to eleven pictures per second with automatic focus tracking so that the photographer does not miss a subject despite accurate autofocus. The new generation of the BIONZ X processor is responsible for the excellent image quality - for photos and 4K videos. The touch screen on the back of the camera can be folded 180 degrees. All this makes the Alpha 6400A an excellent tool for creative professionals, ambitious amateurs and vloggers alike.

The sharpness of the Sony E 18-135 mm F3.5-5.6 OSS is outstanding over the entire focal length range right to the edge of the picture. Interesting for macro fans: Thanks to the maximum 0.29x magnification and the minimum focus distance of 45 centimeters, close-ups with beautiful bokeh or blur effects in the background are easily possible. The integrated optical image stabilization allows hand-held shots and shots without a tripod, even in difficult lighting situations.

The linear motor works quickly, precisely and quietly, ensuring solid, reliable autofocus. This makes the Lens the perfect partner for Sony mirrorless cameras - especially for high-speed or video shooting.
