The new Otus ML 1.4/35 offers you complete manual control: unparalleled precision in focus, depth and detail for photographers who carefully create every image. The framing determines what becomes part of the story and what is deliberately left out. Through targeted framing, photographers direct the eye, create tension, organize chaos and give fleeting scenes a clear structure. Framing is not a coincidence, but a conscious image design

allows perfect control over every detail.

Sharpness
Exceptional sharpness at open aperture (f/1.4), capturing every fine detail with breathtaking clarity and precision, bringing every image to life with remarkable definition.

Manual focus
Allowing the photographer to place the focus exactly where he/she wants it, even at an aperture of f/1.4. The Lens is able to focus on specific elements within a scene for artistic reasons, at an aperture of f/1.4, achieving a shallow depth of field. The ribbed metal focus ring with precision screw mount ensures effortless focusing. A large rotation angle ensures pinpoint accuracy when focusing.
