Beautiful Black &White - Expressive portraits in black and white | Frank Jurisch for Sigma
Liveshooting contribution in the context of our photo days
Frank JurischFrank Jurisch will show you tips and tricks on how to take expressive black-and-white portraits as part of our live shootings for the photo days in June 2023. He will focus on technical details, camera settings and tips on how to take better pictures! The focus here is on close-ups of faces with little depth of field. The aim is to create photos that keep the viewer as close to the image as possible. Striking catchlights are created with continuous light and processed in black and white in Capture One. The SIGMA fixed focal lengths 50mm f/1.4, 85mm f/1.4, 105mm f/1.4 are used
Born 1977 in Trier, living in Oberhausen NRW. How did I actually get into photography? I seem to remember that with the birth of my son came the desire for a better camera. My first SLR camera arrived to document the development of my son. Over the years, photography became a passion. Meanwhile, I run a photo studio in Oberhausen, photograph commercially and organize many workshops and coachings. Nevertheless, I am also available for freelance work.
