The combination of sea and city, Art Nouveau and contemporary architecture, nightlife and shopping streets enchants photographers from all over the world. Hardly anyone can escape the fascination of the metropolis. So it comes as no surprise that Barcelona has repeatedly attracted and produced great artists over the centuries: The most famous are Antoni Gaud?, Pablo Picasso and Joan Mir? - but of course Barcelona has much more to offer...

Schedule
BARCELONA
Day 1
Flight with Eurowings from D?sseldorf to Barcelona. Transfer from the airport to the hotel. The workshop starts around 12:00 noon with a first photo walk through Barcelona. We use this to refresh or build up our photographic knowledge and how to use the camera. Around 7.00 p.m. we will have dinner and round off the evening.
Day 2 - 4
The markets, narrow streets and of course the breathtaking Gaudi buildings are fascinating. Barcelona offers us so many visual worlds - people and streets, architecture and landscape and much more.
The "learning objectives" are:
- To train the photographic eye for photography around the image
- The focus is on practical application
- Learning to understand the camera as a tool and using it to create expressive images
- Designing with the aperture and shutter speed
- Working with filters (mainly ND filters)
- Creating HDRs
- Photographing and composing panoramas
- Exposing and editing images using suitable software
Day 4
In the late afternoon transfer to the airport and return flight to D?sseldorf.

Jens Landmesser works as a freelance photographer. He has been commissioned and booked by Canon Germany since 1999. The specialist knowledge he has accumulated over many years qualifies him as a competent lecturer and trainer. His photographic passion is for reportage, travel, portrait and architectural photography. Jens Landmesser presents his knowledge in a methodically structured and lively manner - his workshops and seminars are coherently structured: From basic photographic knowledge to themed workshops and photo trips, he imparts specific, applicable specialist knowledge to beginners and professionals alike. He reinforces what he has learned in theory with practical tips and active outdoor units. The creative possibilities of modern photography are not neglected either. This makes every "Jens Landmesser Workshop" an unforgettable experience

- A system or DSLR camera with manual settings
- Lenses with different focal lengths
- A tripod

The Lyrid meteor stream offers cosmic fireworks in April. The Lyrids are an active meteor stream that occurs every spring from April 16 to 26. For an astrophotographer, the meteors are a perfect photo motif.
