The RF 14-35mm F4 L IS USM joins the growing lineup of RF Lenses built on the solid foundation of the EOS R System. Combined with the innovative camera bodies of this system, the RF Lenses offer unsurpassed optical performance and new possibilities when shooting stills and video. The RF bayonet's communication system opens up the benefits of combined image stabilization with the EOS R System's in-camera IS. When used with Canon's EOS R5 or EOS R6, image stabilization achieves a seven-stop exposure advantage - combined with superior autofocus and control capabilities, this results in a practical powerhouse for photo and video shooting.

Compact Lens with a Wide Angle of View
The RF 14-35mm F4 L IS USM takes advantage of the EOS R System's large bayonet diameter to offer a powerful combination of wide angle of view and high image quality. Weighing just 540g, the RF 14-35mm F4 L IS USM complements the compact and lightweight RF 24-105mm F4 L IS USM and RF 70-200mm F4 L IS USM lenses with different optical characteristics, allowing you to meet almost any photographic need. Like the other F4 Trinitiy Lenses, it offers a 77mm filter thread and the same compact form factor. These features make it a practical and lightweight travel companion for a variety of tasks. With its wide ultra-wide-angle focal range, the RF 14-35mm F4 L IS USM offers the flexibility to capture a variety of different subjects, including landscape and architecture. The Lens features a best-in-class closest focusing distance of just 20cm and 0.38x magnification, thanks to its rear-lens focusing. This makes the RF 14-35mm F4 L IS USM particularly well-suited for use in spaces with limited space and when it's important to capture a wide-angle panorama.

Optical excellence
The RF 14-35mm F4 L IS USM features an advanced optical design with three ultra-low dispersion (UD) lenses and three bare-pressed aspherical glass lenses, one of which is also aspherical. These details demonstrate Canon's 50 years of research and development in aspherical lenses for interchangeable lens cameras. Thanks to extensive development work in lens design and high-precision manufacturing technology, these components have a non-spherical curvature that focuses light into a single point. This reduces aberrations and produces razor-sharp images that match the image quality of Canon's renowned fixed focal length Lenses. These lenses provide the highest resolution from the center of the image to the edges, which is particularly challenging with wide-angle lenses, where the risk of spherical aberrations increases greatly. Combined with Canon's proprietary Subwavelength Structure Coating (SWC) and Air Sphere Coating (ASC) to prevent lens reflections and flare, the RF 14-35mm F4 L IS USM delivers exceptional sharpness and high contrast.

Professional, reliable performance on any assignment
The RF 14-35mm F4 L IS USM offers the tremendous quality of Canon's L-series, delivering consistent, precise performance when shooting stills and video. Rear lens focusing enables impressive close-up focusing and reduces so-called focus breathing to less than one-third compared to the EF 16-35mm f/4 L IS USM. Canon's innovative Nano USM autofocus motor ensures fast, smooth and quiet AF operation, while the f/4 speed remains constant throughout the focal length range, so no changes to shutter speed or ISO are required when zooming. Combined with the Image Stabilizer (IS) for 5.5 stops of exposure, which increases to 7 stops when used with the Canon EOS R5 and EOS R6, the RF 14-35mm F4 L IS USM is an indispensable tool for high-quality, smooth video recording with the EOS R system. Even with long exposures, freehand shooting is possible.

The RF 14-35mm F4 L IS USM features a Lens Control Ring that allows quick and direct control of Tv, Av and ISO settings, for example, without having to call up the menu. Manual focusing is possible at any time via the focus ring without switching. In addition, the Lens features the reliable weather protection of the Canon L-series. This means that it is protected against dust and splash water and can be used in virtually all environmental conditions.

Super Weitwinkel Zoom
Super scharfes, schnelles und leichtes Weitwinkel Zoom. Absolut Empfehlenswert für Leute die es weit mögen aber kein Vermögen für das 10-20mm ausgeben möchten. Einzig bei 14mm muss man mit Filtern aufpassen, da es sonst zu dunklen Rändern kommen kann.
