Thanks to its 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels), the EV3240X can display four times more information than a Full HD monitor (1920 x 1080 pixels) and more than twice as much as a WQHD monitor (2560 x 1440 pixels). With 4K, you can display multiple applications on one screen at the same time with less scrolling or switching between windows.

Highest image quality thanks to IPS panel
The monitor masters the triad for outstanding image quality: excellent resolution of 3840 x 2160 (4K UHD) pixels, highest contrast of 2000:1 and a stable brightness of up to 350 cd/m². This means you can experience razor-sharp text contours, brilliant graphics and clear images. Thanks to the high-quality IPS panel with LED backlight, contrasts and colors remain stable from any viewing angle.
Precise color control
A picture can only be perfect if the colors are too. For this reason, EIZO monitors have a look-up table (LUT) with at least 10 bits, which allows color information to be assigned much more precisely than with the usual 8-bit LUT. The finest color gradations ensure that gradients are always displayed perfectly and also offer individual setting options. For example, white points from 4000 to 10,000 Kelvin (K) can be adjusted in 500 K increments without loss.
Overdrive for fast picture change
Fast, faster, overdrive. The overdrive function accelerates the switching time so that gray-grey changes take place in just 5 ms on average. You can watch films and fast picture changes without annoying afterglow.
State-of-the-art connectivity with USB-C
Video and audio playback, fast data transfer including network signal and power supply for connected devices - all this and more can be achieved with a single USB-C cable. The EV3240X becomes a central docking station to which you can connect your notebook quickly and conveniently. Particularly practical when switching between different workstations or between the office and home office.
The 94 W power supply via USB-C reliably charges small computers or notebooks. This frees up more space on your desk, as there is no need for an additional computer power supply.

One monitor, many connections
It couldn't be simpler: you can connect most of your end devices such as PC, laptop, mouse, keyboard or headphones directly to the monitor. This is because the EV3240X has various signal interfaces and connections. This makes your daily work easier and keeps your desk tidy.
LAN connection
The monitor has a dedicated LAN connection for a stable wired network connection. Notebooks or PCs only need to be connected to the EV3240X via USB cable to access the network signal via the monitor. This is a particular advantage for notebooks that no longer have a LAN connection. This allows fast and stable data transfer, as required for video conferences, for example. As a network device, the monitor has its own MAC address.
Alternatively, the "EIZO MAC Address Clone Utility" software for Windows can temporarily assign the MAC address of the connected PC to the monitor. This transparency allows authenticated PCs to access the network through the monitor.
KVM switch
It has never been easier to operate different PCs with a single mouse and keyboard. Thanks to the USB upstream ports, the EV3240X has an integrated KVM (Keyboard Video Mouse) switch. The monitor automatically links the mouse and keyboard to the currently active source computer. This means, for example, that a desktop PC and laptop or even a business and private PC can each be operated on the same combination of monitor, mouse and keyboard. This ensures uninterrupted working and a tidy workspace.
Design - cuts a fine figure on any desk
The appearance of a monitor plays a major role in creating a pleasant working atmosphere. With its fine, virtually frameless design and ergonomic features, the monitor blends naturally into your working environment, whether you are at home or in the office. In addition to elegant black, the body is also available in white, with matching white cables.
Functional elements integrated into the frame
The front of the EV3240X is equipped with electrostatic controls instead of mechanical buttons - this guarantees ease of use and is also extremely elegant. All control elements and the speakers are located in the frame and face the user. This makes them very user-friendly and fits into the flat, almost frameless design of the monitor.
Save energy and protect your eyes with Auto EcoView
Day or night, bright or dark: no matter when and how you work, the Auto EcoView function continuously measures the change in ambient light and optimizes the screen to ideal brightness values. Completely automatically by means of a sensor. The benefits: annoying glare is reduced and your eyes don't tire as quickly. A special two-point control takes into account the brightest and darkest surroundings during the course of the day with the desired screen brightness in each case. Another plus: thanks to the automatic brightness adjustment, you save up to 50% electricity compared to a monitor that is permanently operated at full brightness.

For the sake of your eyes - flicker-free working
To protect your eyes, EIZO has developed a hybrid technology to control the backlight. This combines the advantages of the usual PWM control (pulse width modulation) and DC control (direct current). PWM control uses much higher frequencies than standard PWM methods. The result: a flicker-free viewing experience while maintaining picture quality and color stability. In addition, you can set the brightness in darkly lit rooms to less than 1% of the maximum value compared to pure DC control. The advantage: your screen remains glare-free even under these conditions.
The flicker-free and low blue light content of EIZO FlexScan monitors are certified by TÜV Rheinland.
Anti-glare: more image, less reflection
The EV3240X offers an optimally anti-glare surface. By minimizing reflections through the scattering of reflected light, the EV3240X effectively prevents glare and eyestrain. Eye fatigue is reduced and you can also sit comfortably in front of the monitor without having to adopt a "forced position" to avoid glare.
Ergonomic stand
Ergonomic and stable: the adjustable stand focuses on ergonomics. You can turn, swivel and tilt the monitor to the position that is most comfortable for your back, neck and sitting posture. The height can be infinitely adjusted and it can be lowered almost to the table or the base plate of the stand. This allows you to position the top line of the picture ergonomically below eye level.
Picture-by-Picture: everything at a glance
The Picture-by-Picture mode allows you to display different signal sources on one screen. You can choose which signal is to be displayed on the right or left half of the screen.
Use picture-by-picture mode, for example, if you want to connect two computers to one monitor or if two individual screens are to be replaced on one computer.
Picture-in-picture
Picture-in-picture mode allows you to display two image signals at the same time - a main image and a reduced image from another signal source inserted into it. The size and position of the second window can be varied.
Optimized colour display at the touch of a button
Preset colour modes optimize the viewing of images, texts or films. Because it makes a difference whether you are watching a movie, editing a picture, surfing the web or writing text. At the touch of a button, you can set the respective preset for brightness, gamma correction and color temperature. For example: Paper mode simulates the pleasant contrast of printed paper, which is easy on the eyes when reading and prevents fatigue.

Monitor control and administration - Screen InStyle
In addition to the on-screen menu, the EV3240X can be conveniently controlled from a Windows PC using the Screen InStyle software. The setting options include, for example, color reproduction, energy saving options and ergonomic functions. In multi-screen systems, the settings can be applied synchronously to all connected screens using Screen InStyle.
Organizing the desktop via screen layout
Multitasking with several applications running such as word processing, spreadsheets, browsers and other programs is an everyday challenge for most professional office work. However, a disorganized screen can affect productivity and make it difficult to focus.
With the screen layout function, you can divide the desktop and arrange program windows in the desired location or have them arranged in a recurring manner so that you can work intelligently and efficiently.

Take your individual screen settings with you wherever you connect your notebook or tablet to a modern EIZO monitor. Your settings are automatically applied by simply connecting your notebook to a monitor with Screen InStyle support via a USB-C cable. Offices with variable desks (hot desking) or home offices benefit from more comfort and work efficiency.
Monitor control and administration in the network - Screen InStyle Server
System administrators can centrally manage and control monitors connected in the network with the Screen InStyle Server application. This optimizes power consumption and simplifies the asset management of monitors.
Company-wide default setup - Monitor Configurator
Making work easier for administrators: The software allows you to create a default setup for all relevant monitor settings. This setup can be distributed to the connected monitors via the local network, making the roll-out process easier.
EcoView Optimizer - Save up to 30% energy
Save power without losing quality: The EcoView Optimizer automatically reduces the backlighting on dark images. This reduces power consumption by up to 30 %. At the same time, the signal is amplified and the color tone values are adjusted. The result: you experience the usual picture quality with lower consumption.
Zero-watt consumption thanks to power switch
The monitors have an integrated, mechanical power switch. This is extremely practical and energy-saving: if you switch the monitor off using the power switch, the device consumes no power at all. In stand-by mode, consumption is a maximum of 0.35 watts.

The EV3240X is produced in a socially responsible manner, without child or forced labor. Suppliers along the supply chain are carefully selected and have also committed themselves to this responsibility. This applies in particular to suppliers of so-called conflict minerals. Every EV3240X is produced in our own factory, which has an ISO 14001-certified environmental management system. This includes measures to reduce waste, waste water and emissions, resource and energy consumption, as well as promoting environmentally conscious behavior among employees. The EV3240X is designed for a long service life - usually well in excess of the five-year warranty. Spare parts are available for up to five years after the end of production. The entire usage cycle takes into account the impact on the environment, as the longevity and repairability conserve resources and protect the climate. When designing the EV3240X, we focused on low resource consumption with high-quality components and materials as well as careful production.
Environmentally friendly use of materials
The EV3240X is made from 80% recycled plastic. This reduces the amount of plastic waste released into the environment, conserves resources and promotes the reuse of materials.
Reducing the use of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) in material production, such as those found in certain paints and varnishes, is also of global interest.
Through years of research, EIZO has succeeded in achieving a smooth, almost homogeneous color and texture for its monitor housings without the use of paint.
Environmentally friendly packaging
EIZO uses cellulose padding for the EV3240X packaging. The material is made from recycled cardboard and paper and has a much lower environmental impact when disposed of than conventional polystyrene or plastic. All cables are stored in a cardboard compartment instead of being individually wrapped in plastic bags.
Compliance with standards and guidelines
The monitor is certified according to important and comprehensive sustainability standards such as TCO Certified Generation 9 and ENERGY STAR. In addition, it has an EPEAT Gold registration for compliance with strict sustainability standards at the highest level, which is even supplemented by a Climate + award on science-based climate protection standards.
