Product description for LAOWA 12mm f/2.8 Zero-D Canon RF

The Laowa 12 mm f/2.8 is a fast super wide-angle Lens
for full-frame cameras that delivers almost distortion-free photos. The extreme angle of view of 122 degrees and the straight lines produce fantastic landscape or architectural photos with a unique perspective. Despite the enormous focal length and speed, it has outstanding optical quality. Two aspherical elements and three LD (low dispersion) elements ensure maximum sharpness, minimal distortion and minimum chromatic aberration.

This lens is relatively cheap compared to other brands with similar properties, but it is very high quality - optical but also mechanical. My copy is very sharp corner-to-corner, has minimal aberrations and is very resistant to flare. Also, the automatic aperture setting for the Pentax version is a great feature to have. I use it with Pentax K1. Overall, highly recommended!

! Only use special cleaning cloths and cleaning agents to avoid scratches on the lenses.

! Lenses / adapters are sensitive to drops and knocks. Store and transport them safely in padded bags.

! Protect lenses / adapters from rain and high humidity. Condensation can lead to damage.

! Protect from prolonged exposure to extreme heat and cold.

! Do not point the lens directly at the sun, especially without a camera. It can act like a magnifying glass and cause fire hazard or damage.
