With the NIKKOR Z 28-400mm f/4-8 VR all-purpose zoom lens, you can cover pretty much any photo situation. The extremely versatile focal length range offers 28 mm at wide angle and 400 mm at super telephoto - and everything in between! Shoot wide-angle landscapes, zoom in for creative portraits of people or architectural details in the city. Or zoom in all the way to show shy wild animals in their natural habitat.

Smooth handling
Thanks to its compact proportions and a weight of just 725 g, this 14.2x zoom lens fits easily into your camera bag. Or you can simply leave it on your Nikon Z camera whenever you're out and about. Even extended to 400 mm focal length, this superzoom feels well balanced. It's much easier to handle than a super telephoto fixed focal length.

The superzoom lens for close-ups
With this all-purpose zoom lens, you can focus from just 0.2 m away at wide-angle, and from 1.2 m at a zoom of 400 mm.1 The maximum magnification of 1:2.8 enables fantastic close-ups. When the supplied lens hood is attached, make sure you don't touch your subject - because you can get really close with this super zoom lens!

Image stabilization for steady shots
The integrated optical image stabilizer (VR, Vibration Reduction) counteracts camera shake. It allows up to 5.0 f-stops longer freehand exposures - for sharp shots even in low light.2 SPORT mode also ensures a stable viewfinder image for fast action shots. If you combine this wide-angle to super-telephoto zoom lens with a Nikon Z camera with Synchro-VR, you can even use exposure times that are up to 5.5 stops slower.3

Auch, wenn die Blende 8 erst einmal vom Kauf abgehalten hat: Im Urlaub hat das Objektiv als immer drauf den Ansprüchen stand gehalten egal, ob beim Sonnenuntergang oder als Tele für Tierfotografie.
