Tiny details can be captured from a distance of less than six centimeters. The Lens is also ideal for portraits with a large depth of field or for various special effects.

Even inexperienced photographers can shoot photos that are otherwise reserved for professionals. The NIKKOR Z MC 50mm f/2.8 Lens for mirrorless cameras ensures razor-sharp images even when the distance between the lens and subject is just a few inches. With life-size macro photography - that is, a magnification of 1 : 1 - you can capture amazing detail. And even with more distant subjects, from portraits to street photography, you benefit from the natural perspective of the classic 50 mm standard focal length.

No limits to your curiosity
Take a step back for the big picture view. Move closer to capture all the details that catch your eye. Superior optics and an aperture with nine rounded blades ensure perfectly sharp subjects against a background of soft blur at a f/2.8 aperture.
