Designed for professional photographers and videographers, the LUMIX S1II offers LUMIX Color Science, wide dynamic range and high-speed performance that enables content creators to efficiently and accurately capture photos and videos the way they envision.
The newly developed 24.1MP full-frame CMOS image sensor, powered by a latest-generation Venus Engine, enables faster readout speeds as well as high frame rate shooting in 4K120p and 5.1K60p.
With Dynamic Range Boost mode, it achieves up to 15 stops in V-Log at frame rates below 30p. Photo features include up to 70fps high-speed continuous shooting (with pre-burst function of up to 1.5 seconds), for capturing fleeting moments.
The LUMIX S1II also enhances the workflow for diverse content production. The highly regarded Open Gate function now supports formats beyond 6K30p, enabling 5.1K60p, expanding creative possibilities.

The LUMIX S PRO 16-35mm F4 extends the Panasonic S focal length range in the wide-angle segment. The versatile zoom ranges from super wide-angle to classic reportage focal lengths. Both photos and videos benefit equally from its high imaging performance across the entire focal length range.

12 lens elements in 9 groups, including 3 aspherical lenses, an ED lens (Extra-Low Dispersion) and a UHR lens (Ultra-High Refractive Index) ensure high MTF performance despite its compact size and low weight. The Lens with 9 aperture blades for a uniformly round aperture has low vignetting and a consistently high resolution right into the corners of the image as well as a beautiful bokeh without double lines.

Despite its compact design, a very powerful linear motor with two magnets drives the AF focusing element. High-speed focus control on the sensor takes place at a maximum of 480 fps in order to track even fast subjects accurately. Fast switching between AF/MF and precise manual focusing is possible at any time thanks to the focus clutch function. During video recording, a mechanism suppresses any pumping during focusing, which can be annoying with interchangeable lenses designed for purely photographic use.
The robust, dust and splash-proof*4 construction can withstand tough use even in difficult conditions down to 10 degrees below zero. The filter size is 77 mm.
