TAMRON's new F/4.5-6.3 Di III VC VXD with Image Stabilizer offers a 50mm option in response to user feedback that "the angle of view of the starting focal length is not optimal" when using a 70-300mm zoom. Although the 50-300mm F/4.5-6.3 VC offers up to 300mm focal length in the telephoto range, it is extremely compact with a length of only 150mm and one of the lightweights in its class with a weight of only 665g. In addition, the precise arrangement of special lens elements ensures effective reduction of aberrations and high image quality over the entire zoom range.

The Lens is equipped with a VXD linear motor focusing mechanism (Voice coil eXtreme torque Drive), which ensures particularly quiet and precise autofocus, while the VC image stabilizer (Vibration Compensation) ensures high stability in all shooting situations.

With an initial focal length of 50mm, the lens achieves a close focusing distance of 0.22m and thus a remarkable maximum reproduction scale of 1:2. This enables fascinating close-ups and allows the user to enjoy the world of semi-macro photography to the full.

The filter size of 67mm, which many TAMRON lenses for mirrorless system cameras have, ensures that filter equipment already purchased can be used directly for several lenses. The 50-300mm F 4.5-6.3 VC is packed with features that make photography even more enjoyable, such as a weather-resistant lens construction, fluorine coating on the front element and USB-C connection for use with TAMRON's proprietary TAMRON Lens Utility and TAMRON Lens Utility Mobile software. Unique telephoto lens with 50mm initial focal length
The 50-300mm F 4.5-6.3 VC outperforms conventional 300mm class telephoto zoom lenses in the 70-300mm focal length range by extending the initial focal length to 50mm. This immediately opens up more photographic expression possibilities for users who require a longer focal length range. In addition, the Lens is equipped with a VC mechanism for image stabilization. It achieves a very high image quality and is extremely compact with a length of only 150mm and a weight of 665g. The small size ensures excellent balance and exceptional mobility, even in combination with an APS-C camera, allowing the user to concentrate fully on the subject.

Uncompromising optical performance over the entire zoom range of 50-300mm.
The optical construction of the 50-300mm F 4.5-6.3 VC comprises 19 elements in 14 groups and is optimized for high image quality over the entire zoom range. The complex and precise arrangement of special lens elements, including two XLD (eXtra Low Dispersion) and two LD (Low Dispersion) lens elements, efficiently controls chromatic aberrations and more.
TAMRON's BBAR G2 (Broad Band Anti Reflection Generation2) coating suppresses ghosting and flare, allowing fine details to be captured even in backlit conditions. This combination ensures breathtaking clarity and contrast. Creative expression is brought to life with uncompromisingly high resolution from the center to the corners of every frame, while beautifully smooth bokeh isolates the subject from the background for an even more dramatic effect.

Fast and highly accurate AF with excellent subject tracking
The autofocus is equipped with TAMRON's VXD linear motor. Thanks to this fast and high-precision autofocus system, the user can precisely adjust the focus from the closest focusing distance to infinity. In addition, the focus tracking is extremely precise, so that sudden subject movements can be captured accurately. The linear motor also generates almost no drive noise or vibrations during focusing, making it ideal for photo and video shoots in environments where it has to be particularly quiet.

The 50-300mm F4.5-6.3 VC from TAMRON offers outstanding performance for close-up shots. With a closest focusing distance of 0.22m and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2 at 50mm initial focal length, the user can get exceptionally close to a subject to create fascinating half-macro shots.
Even at 300mm telephoto, this new zoom achieves a closest focusing distance of 0.9m with a maximum magnification ratio of 1:3.1. This exceptional versatility allows any photographer to bring out the charm of subjects and capture unique compositions that are only possible with this lens.

Equipped with TAMRON's proprietary VC mechanism
The new all-rounder 50-300mm F4.5-6.3 VC is equipped with the VC mechanism developed by TAMRON. This effectively suppresses camera shake that can occur when shooting at telephoto range, with moving objects or when focusing close up, thus enabling stable results overall. When shooting with an APS-C camera, the focal length corresponds to 75 to 450mm equivalent to full format. The VC mechanism also reduces the potential degradation of image quality when shooting in low light environments such as dimly lit interiors or landscape shots at dusk. At focal lengths up to 100mm, AI (Artificial Intelligence) technologies provide additional automatic stabilization when shooting video.

Guter Allrounder mit guter P/L
Das Objektiv ist ein guter guter Allrounder mit gutem Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Insbesondere auf Wanderungen eine sehr schöne Ergänzung zu einem Standard-Zoom. Der Autofokus ist leider nur "OK" und merklich schlechter als bei Sony Objektiven (G/GM). Zumindest an der A7CII.
