A cosmos of exciting motifs and possible uses is offered to the user by Nikon with a wide range of interchangeable lenses for the Nikon digital single-lens reflex camera (DSLR). Equipped with a bayonet mount, it is compatible with both the Lenses from Nikon itself as well as with those of other lens manufacturers such as Sigma, Samyang, Tamron, Tokina, Walimex, Zeiss and more. To enhance performance and image quality, these lenses feature, for example, VR (Vibration Reduction) image stabilizer technology, glass lenses with ED (Extra-low Dispersion), i.e. particularly low dispersion, as well as aspherical lenses for high resolution and good contrast, and an optical stabilizer (OS = Optical Stabilizer). For friends of cinema-affine video recordings, these lenses are also suitable for film production, in HD quality.
The right lens can be found for everything that is imaginable with an SLR camera: lightweight versions with a high zoom factor for light luggage, features such as silent-wave motors for motorized zooms, and megazooms that are suitable for video and sports. In addition, special designs such as macro (for close-ups), fisheye or a fixed focal length (for portraits), furthermore telephoto for the distance or wide-angle, partly with tilt-shift effect, generally for outdoor (landscape, nature, panoramas or architecture), in excellent material quality and partly with wonderful bokeh can be combined with the Nikon SLR camera, to name just a few of the possibilities from the field of high-performance equipment.
