With the new firmware update 5.00, the Sony Alpha 7S III receives numerous features that are already familiar from other Alpha models as well as the FX3 and FX30. These include an automatically rotating display and menu layout for portrait and landscape format, menu zoom, extended focus and tracking options and USB streaming. Professional functions such as Camera Authenticity via digital signature and improved display of storage capacity during video recording are also new on board. The update also ensures greater stability and fixes an audio problem.
