Practical macro diffuser for mobile photographers
The Beetle Diffuser Lite V2 is a particularly lightweight diffuser for photographers who are often on the move and want to take flexible macro photos of small insects, for example.
The diffuser provides a pleasantly uniform, soft light by diffusing the flash light evenly. This means that even insects with a shiny or reflective shell and fine details can be photographed true to life.
For an even better result, there is the BeetleDiffusor Pro V2, which has additional reflector surfaces, a removable bottom reflector, a finely adjustable mechanism for the diffuser angle and an optional LED focusing aid light on the back or a back with a cut-out for the LED modeling light of a flash, but is somewhat larger and heavier.

Both the BeetleDiffuser Lite V2 and the Pro V2 can be folded flat and are supplied in a zippered bag.
Quick to set up
Thanks to the simple click fasteners and elastic straps, the diffuser can be set up in a flash.
With or without LED
The Lite Diffuser V2 (version with LED) is equipped with an LED lamp which serves as a focusing light.
To operate the LED, you need a separately available power bank with USB-A connection, which you can also attach directly to the diffuser using the Velcro sticker supplied.
This allows you to focus accurately, even if the diffuser shades the subject from the sun.

Flexibly adjustable
The angle of the diffuser can be easily adjusted by pulling the rubber cord on the lens forwards or backwards: The Pro model offers even more comfort and flexibility thanks to the adjustment mechanism on the top of the diffuser.
The Beetle ring
The innovative Beetle ring is supplied to prevent the rubber cord from slipping off the lens unintentionally.
It is similar to a normal step-up ring, but has the same filter thread on both sides. The larger outer diameter prevents the rubber cord of the diffuser from slipping off the lens and at the same time allows the mounting of a Raynox attachment macro lens due to the constant inner thread.
Most macro lenses use a thread size of 46mm, 58mm, 62mm or 67mm. A 62mm and a 67mm beetle ring are included.
If your lens has a different filter diameter, you can still use the diffuser by tightening the rubber cord around the lens.
Compatibility:
The regular-size version of the Lite V2 and the Pro V2 are designed for DSLR and mirrorless cameras with standard flashes.
From the compact OM System camera to the large DSLR flagship, the Beetle diffuser is the ideal choice for all cameras.
They are compatible with the classic 90 and 100mm macro lenses from OM System, Sony, Canon, Nikon, Laowa, Tamron etc. as well as other lenses of a similar size.
Lenses under a physical length of 6.3cm are not supported, for lenses such as an Olympus 60mm, Laowa 65mm or Olympus 12-45mm / 12-40mm BeetleDiffusor recommends the "mini-size" version of their diffuser.
Compatible are all flashes with standard size, which have a rectangular flash head (like the Godox 860, Nikon SB 5000, Canon 600 ex rt) or round flash head like the Godox V1.
Some small flash units, such as the Meike MK-320 and the Olympus FL-LM3 are not compatible.
