The next-generation, state-of-the-art BSI (Backside Illuminated) sensor delivers stunning images. It offers triple base ISO (800 / 3,200 / 12,800), natural color rendition and 16 stops of dynamic range.

Compact, ergonomic and familiar design
The familiar and optimized design offers improved ergonomics and connectivity options, as well as an updated joystick and multifunction accessory shoe. The camera features a grip on top and can be customized into a rig - giving you the flexibility to shoot the way you need to, even in challenging conditions.

Dual Pixel CMOS AF II with EOS iTR AF X
The updated, faster autofocus technology makes things easier. It ensures razor-sharp and extremely responsive face, eye, head, body and animal detection and tracking across the entire sensor. With the face only setting and the ability to configure the parameters, you have full control and can ensure that the focus is always correct.

Professional recording formats and high frame rates
Includes 12 bit Cinema RAW Light LT up to 6K 30p and 4:2:2 10 bit up to 4K 120p. 4K oversampling is available in XF-AVC and the improved MP4 formats XF-AVC S / XF-HEVC S. They all feature detailed metadata and file name structures.
